Thanks for posting this one. It's one of the greatest of the Ub iwerks ComiColors, which were pretty much a mixed bag in terms of quality. The Headless Horseman was also one of a handful of cartoons utilizing Iwerks' version of the multiplane camera, developed several years before Disney built his more elaborate version for use in The Old Mill and Snow White (both 1937).
I have the 16mm silent print of this cartoon and it was under Castle Films. I've watched it for the first time and I enjoyed them, and it was in black & white.

Comicolor films were some of the most unsettling cartoons I watched as a kid. But thats why I liked them so much!
