I'm just half joking when I call ourselves "old" (or at least I hope I am)...one thing I've learned is that every year that goes by leaves me realizing just how YOUNG I was the year before. CG ordered us these hats off amazon amzn.to/3JqcBcw She got a version with the flappy thing to cover her neck and I got a hat without the flappy thing cause it seems annoying to me. CG really likes the hat, but I don't love it cause the hat doesn't hold it's shape as well as I'd like and it's too floppy for me...it is light and travels well, though. I prefer my heavier hat that I have at home, but it's too rigid to travel well.
We are a lot more active when we're traveling--which is a great reason to travel!--when we're back home in Florida, I spend too much time at home like a bump on a log

Was at Parque Calderon on Thursday night I believe, and they had like a party going on in the street with a DJ blasting music and the street closed. It was good times.
That night we were sitting on the balcony, there was a parade of 4 red cross vehicles circling the square...I swear they drove slowly around the square four times with their lights and sirens blaring just to do it...there's no shortage of things to hear in that part of town
CG started us doing the wellness inventory thing over a dozen years ago, I think. It's basically a self assessment tool, and I like that we try to do it every year or so...it's fun, and it is a good reminder to pay attention to the things in my life that I find important.
Always a nice end to my week getting to see a travel video from you guys. Love the river walk and the evening out with the party bus. Those drinks looked incredible and definitely worth treating yourself. 🎉
Thanks for always watching...We just happen to stumble upon that lounge and restaurant overlooking the square, and it turned out to be one of nicest experiences dining out, and I get a lot of points with CG when I'm not acting too cheap

it's hard to avoid the rain here...it's never been too bad, but I never go out without a hat and jacket just in case...the city is in the mountains, so the weather can change quickly
@@SlowpokeTravel Where I'm currently living we get plenty of wind and rain... We're near Mt. Hood Just yesterday we were painting the house and shortly after we went inside a random storm cloud passed over and it began to rain. Luckily the paint was dry before that happened. xD

we've booked an extended housesit in the USA later in the summer, so we'll just be maxing out our 3 month tourist visa in Cuenca
