I'm a veho driver in the new York market and they drop routes the day before at 7pm and the only down fall for veho is the routes are almost impossible to get they go in less than a minute
What will kill you in tampa florida is the sea of apartment complexes that have locked doors to get to the actual unit that require you to buzz in. You might spend 10 minutes trying to get in. It will kill you time wise. STAY AWAY from weekend vehos there. Too often people are not home and then you have to find the spot where you are supposed to make the delivery in some locker rooms. You can get them done in the time they state but you have to be ruthlessly efficient. Like quickly mark all your boxes and put them in really good order inside of your vehicle. Honestly the pay isn't all that good. 20 dollars an hour with all that wear and tear aint all that great with a lot of dead miles to get to the start of your route. You will need to dual app with roadie and see if you can get a piece of luggage from the airport that heads in your general direction.
It's happened to me twice in new York so called 3 hr block ended up being more like 5 hrs and they don't help you at all to get compensation for the extra hrs
Goshare has very strict vehicle requirements. You need to pass a vehicle inspection and can have no lights on your dashboard at all. They will fail the inspection on the dumbest of stuff. Too picky and it's laughable they charge for a background check while being that picky. I once paid 50ish dollars to join dispatch.... never did a single gig on there cause the work was non existent on there practically speaking in the tampa bay area. And the gigs you did get were 40+ miles away.
i do veho from time to time and the pay isnt really good. i cant speak for every area, but in san antonio, you avg about 17 per hour. the only reason i do it is because i dont know anything better. i dont like door dash in this area because theres so many bad offers and when you get the good ones, they take you out the area and then you gotta drive all the way back wasting so much time. frayt is fine, but actually getting a pickup is damn near impossible. roadie is an absolute joke with what they try to pay you. anyone in the san antonio area knows anything that is better? im willing to drive long distance if the pickup is in san antonio.
Pay for sedan type pick up is cheap. Plus, you have to find an employee that can get the item. Probably a minimum of 10 minutes to pick up the item. Roadie may work for those who can carry larger items. But as with most gig economy work it is market dependent on whether it works.

Thank you Longer delivery routes? Check out Roadie. Some of the medical courier platforms seem to have long routes as well. You could also set destination filters on rideshare platforms heading your way.

@@twatkins71 I'm in the SLC area and signed up for Roadie, but I've never done a job for them. I just poke into the app now and then and see 1-2 jobs in the valley here and there. Mostly its baggage from the airport or large best buy and home depot deliveries. They are sparing and they all say they want you to pick up immediately, so if you are trying to time it with a trip you are already doing, it could be difficult to grab at a time that works.
I'm in Jersey area and veho is absolutely garbage. It's hard to get routes, the warehouse wait is outrageous and the pay is a joke compared to other apps. I get higher paying orders on dolly sometimes double the pay of veho and half the work
I do veho in New York and the pay is ok at times I see $95 for 30 packages which is not great but small packages and I've seen $140 plus but go to damn fast like you mentioned it's almost impossible to get a route I don't even bother anymore
Operating your own vehicle, makes courier/delivery jobs too prohibitive. You will lose money unless you drive your mother's car and she fills the gas tank.
