- Due to the fact that our colleagues in CMT (Copenhagen Metro Team) having some trouble resetting the air compressor, I made an instruction step by step showing how to do it. Enjoy!

how do you set inverter parameters on a Atlas copco GA 75-90 VSD compressor . I replaced the Siemens inverter Inside it. do I have to reset parameters or will it run on the old parameters which is already set on the keypad.? please help
For short term will work, load and unload but not for long term. The reason because there is a serial number in the controller will say that is not the right compressor. Therefore, you need to call the supplier of the compressor in order to set-up the new serial number of the invertor into the software.
always set the basics, speed, start time/ stop time, .... ! (Easy a VSD !)

I never had sach case. In this case I would plug out & in power supply. This is the only way to restart ;)
our compressor is stopped and restart again after aperiod af unloaded time is it normal ?? bcs we have an old one never stopped only load and unload!! .also the frequency for stopping and restart is high..
Yes, its normal. It might be because of the temperature or receive wrong signal from the sensor. You you adjust the frequency. When did you last service the compressor?

Can you help me? Our atlas air compressor always alarm MOTOR CONVERTER TRIGGERED FAULT 22. what would would be the troubleshooting for this?
STOP TIME, high volt VSD (more stop time will FIX the problem.) Now the moter send power back 'in STOP MODE' to controler, High voltage / make the stop time 15 sec. or 20 sec. instaed of 10sec....., You get this error if the compressor stops after the idle time. ( made by Atlas Copco China / No problems with your electricity installation, just a short 'INPUT' from VSD engine & CONTROLERS FLIPT ! )

I have resetted it however the light just keeps on blinking. Please help. We have a GA37 and the upside down triangle error signal keeps on popping up. We have a GA37 by the way and the bars is at 0, unlike the one shown on the video
Most of the cases the problem is the electric connection with different phases. Try to check that. The second scenario can be the low temperature, the compressor has to be kept always over 5 degrees. Check this two options and let me know if its solved.

Try to clean the sensors and filters. After that, make a factory reset. I hope this helps :)

I have "starter feedback contact open " issue. where is this contact?
our atlas copco compressor runs and stop giving an expansion module communication error thus triggering a stop on the machine. you resert and start again, then it stops after 5 minutes on the same error....

Our compressor usually get service every 4000 hours and we service the air filter, electric motor and drain separator. We replace the compressor oil every 8000 hours. This is all you need for the maintenance ;)

Hey, in this case there are two options to solve this problem. Option 1: Check the power connection, make sure you have permenant connection without plug and check the breaker. Option 2: Probably the sensor which allows air to the air tank is broken. Please let me know if one of these two options will solve the problem.

Our compressor usually get service every 4000 hours and we service the air filter, electric motor and drain separator. We replace the compressor oil every 8000 hours. This is all you need for the maintenance.
Always remember to keep the compressor in the temperature over 5 degrees ;)

JUnk.Oil has water and short groud the motor.. Rear bearing lock nut bolt craks and that's the end of it..
+Alberto Aguilar Try to clean it up, put new oil and replace the bolts. See what happens. You might be lucky.
Stator its short ground it! thats the end of air compressor why oil gets contact with stator with hot oil?

What do we do if the Console is pass word protected and that we have forgotton the password? How do we go about it?
The supplier should have the password, its default password from the factory. If someone created a password by mistake then you need a technician to come with computer and reset the password/remove for you by using computer. That is the only way.

No good indication AUTOMATIC TURNING or UNLOADED TURNING, "yes" 1 "LED goes out manual position !!! In the past you had a clear Manual or automatic switch for "Turned load and / or turn unload."
