I think having hard backs off the get go would be good. You can learn to get in those spots when you have help. then when you are by yourself you aren't so perplexed on how to get in. My thought anyhow.
I blind sided last night in the dark in a dark lot and hit the dock square center. The guys watching me said damn that was pure skill. Nope it was 100% pure luck. I couldn't see shit. I always keep an eye out for you everytime i see a maverick truck. Ive been doing a lot of texas runs so i go thru arkansas all the time. Hope to see ya one day out thwre Jeremy. You and the trainee be careful out there. Im in fort worth now headed to Mansfield Louisiana then over to Ohio then back to Indiana. Sitting at 2,300 miles right now but i left out Sunday evening.
Likewise, I ended up pulling front facing in opposite of you guys and made that jack knife your around in there it was definitely super tight space but it worked. 👍
Ya know, I’ve been watching your videos. I’m about to make the jump after Jan 1 and apply to Maverick. I think I want you as a trainer! Good attitude, knowledgeable, explains things. Traits of a good trainer. Those things speak well of the company and their employees. I’m in Fort Smith.
I'm in trucking school. And with the amount of room if he has I don't think this got the trucker can actually get that in there he had if he's got that forklift they need to come out and get that load. Cuz if you got spend more than 30 minutes trying to back up a load and it at tiny little access area there's just no way I just pull up and find somebody with their forklift and have them come get that load that is just too tight of a corner for him to try to maneuver that flatbed into that 20 ft hole with a 10ft 10ft wide trailer
I have two "Suns" that drive and then there's me. I've told them both and every young driver I meet don't even try to blindside unless you absolutely have to. He didn't have to. He had more room the other way
There was more room the other way but that was not the way we came in. In order to come in the way the other Maverick did we would have had to make a detour around the town. I put her in the hole instead. It all worked out. He's a good driver just doesn't have that skill yet.
That’s southern university it’s a hbcu ,they have a well traveled band but the people over money there are in really shady stuff Hence the way the dorms/campus looks In the early 2000s I’d say they had the best band in the world
The trainer's attitude(plus decent weather) during this moment would have been the only reason I stayed the remainder of the week 😁 after that, it's been great Maverick but yeah I'm not going to make the remaining weeks #ChickenLittle
I talked to Maverick two days and and the guy wanted me to send him my 1040 Profit loss sheet from my personal business before he would give me employment. Straight A hole. I declined. He said Good Luck. Not a company I would like to work for. Micro management with in cab facing cameras is another turn off for mw

I'm a Delivery Driver for Sysco Foods Little Rock with 8 years driving. I have all my endorsements including my Twic card. What kind of training would I be put in if I apply and get hired?

We don't get to choose who we are training. Good luck
Without trucks they’d be homeless, hungry, and naked! 😂😂😂
😆

Hello watching from the U.K.
Hello posting the the US. 🤣🤣 thanks for watching!
I enjoy watching your TH-cam channel
Dump valve on the rear axle would be handy in a situation like that, one of the only peeves I had there.
Yes it would
Non blind side back would have been easier for a new driver.
Yep but that's not the way we came in and no way the get there.
@@BigTrucking I understand. No disrespect to you.Be safe
