  • The Nexus Pro is a handy blaster out of the box, but in the video I'll show you how I took its performance up to 250 fps and beyond with a simple expanded plunger tube mod.
    The key piece is designed by Andrew Tran and is available here: drive.google.com/drive/folder...
    I've also used tactical pieces designed by Chicken Creations available here: www.etsy.com/au/listing/85116...
    And a top rail riser by BlasterTech available here: www.blastertech.com.au/Top_an...

    Damn nice video! You need more exposure. Gonna post this on DBNB. Came here to see why my PM's were blowing up, not all can handbuilt and this is a good way to get there. This is a good aftermarket solution, mine is a handbuilt mod, not feasible for sale, more for battle and an 18" barrel helps on mine however its good to have it available for aftermarket, Cheers!

      There's a replacement breech piece - I found that this held the barrel too close to the pusher to seal properly (17/32" brass - may not be a problem with a Worker or MM barrel where there is a wider opening for the dart).

Does the plunger tube dimensions and plunger head 3d printed part work on the max stryker as well? if not, what extra has to be done? also what is the best size barrel to fire adventure force waffle tip darts from the max stryker? • @andrewg_nerfmods

      Thanks mate 😃 I see no reason that this printed piece and the tube wouldn't fit in a MS - there might be slight differences in where the shell needs to be cut inside, but overall it should drop in just the same I believe.
      I would not recommend waffles in blasters with this one of tight breech / barrel - the fatter heads will just have to much friction, and possible not even load smoothly into the breech. I'd stick with Pro or Max or Worker short darts.

      O rings are usually described with inner diameter and ring thickness. If you need 36mm outer thickness (because that's the inner diameter of the plunger tube) then 32mm and 2mm or 31mm and 2.5mm will give you this.

    • @andrewg_nerfmods

      Quick answer off the top of my head - I'm 95% sure they're the same, and want to say m2.6 10mm length. Or maybe 12mm.
      But 12mm seems a little long for thin parts like the buffer tube and secret screw under the grip - I may have used 8mm ones there.

    Any plans to get the fps higher than it is on your Max stryker?

    • @andrewg_nerfmods
      @andrewg_nerfmods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The right length also depends on the darts you use and where you are located (eg temp & humidity have effects) - there's really no "best" length that will suit everybody, everywhere.
      I could use a thicker spring (2.0 mm) or a bit of extra length or pre-compression for more fps, but that's not really a priority for me. I'll be using HPA blasters at our local events with high fps caps anyway, so I do mods like this mostly out of interest 😁

    • @andrewg_nerfmods

      @@AussieFirebird Other than the 3D printed pieces linked in the description, it's really only the plunger tube that you need to source. I got mine from Ali Express, but don't usually include links for these as they can change over time.
