yyou did well, but to sterilize bottles they need to be boiled for 10 minutes or steamed or put in a hot oven at 150 for 10 minutes, but it IS 10 minutes.. also may i suggest you use ceramic or stainless steel and glass kitchen accessories, as yours are plastic and plastic leaches carcnogens when heated... so it is best to put everything in glass and have glass measuring jugs and use stainless steel cooking instruments and a ceramic mixing bowl..

But then, if you only smoked cigarettes as often as you drink elderflower cordial, you'd be highly unlikely to develop cancer because of it. The quantity is low, but it's no lower than anything that would have leeched into the solution from the plastic. You'd be surprised how many of the chemicals that occur naturally in plants are carcinogenic. Hell, there are thousands of compounds in most plants that have never been tested, and we have no idea what they even do

hahaha! yea, i too thought it was too much sugar, but it was ok. next time though i will put a couple more lemons in there though otherwise it was spot on!
