A great day watching this in the Queens, Gladstone. Fun times.
Imagine on one side you had Inglis with his power dominating you. Then you on the other side you could put up a kick anywhere near the line and Folau with his leaping ability would 9/10 times get it. Truly, this team was overpowered.
In hindsight yes BUT back then, nobody really knew how good. They were constantly under rated.

@@atlasatlantis8447 I recall game 3 2001 where Langer Destroyed Johns and Fittler. I also recall the solid thrashing the Broncos gave the Knights in 2006. What was the score 50 to 6 in the Semi Final. Turns out Lockyer is a mark above Johns.
QLD had an outstanding team but their best player by far was Tony Archer, a real immortal, a myth...a God.

If NSW were to be believed, every Queensland win in history is because of the referees. Even Freddy after blowing a whitewash (with a team capable of rivaling the great 8 in a row maroons team) blamed the refs. Surely they must mine most of Australia's salt in NSW it's abundant down there!!
