  • How To Change Your Oil On A 2023 Honda Grom (Honda Grom Oil Change)
    In Todays video im gonna show you guys how to change your oil on your 2023 grom and really any grom in general. you can also apply almost the same knowledge to any other 125cc engine out there. i know personally i wasn't taught much about oil changes or regular maintenance things so i thought this would be a helpful way to help someone out there not wanting to pay the insane dealership prices for just a regular oil change.

    a crush washer fell into the old oil when he propped up the bike. he'll need to put another crush washer on the drain plug to make sure his new oil doesn't leak out.

    Wow so easy! Mines due a service and this one is free because it came with the bike but I'll be doing the rest myself and as you can do the oil in like 5 minutes there's no excuse not to keep up with the oil changes 😅 thanks 👍🏼

      My dealer charges 275 plus for an oil change this simple😂 not even joking. Feel bad for the people who won’t take the time to save a lot of money for a pretty simple job. Hope all goes well and the more you do it. The quicker you’ll get!

    So do I need to change the oil filter along with the oil? Or is that just an extra precaution?

    • @hunterrides
      @hunterrides  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly i dont see it as an issue rerunning the same filter (Not forever of course) i would take it out and inspect it to make sure its not super dirty or clogged though. i have ran the same oil filter in my dirtbike for the last 3 changes and as long as your changing on time you wont have to much of an issue.

    Does this model still have oil spinner ?

    • @hunterrides
      @hunterrides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      to my knowledge yes

    • @Dobzie795
      @Dobzie795 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is no spinner on 2022+ models only an oil filter and an oil screen which is behind the engine casing. The oil screen should be cleaned every 7500-8000 miles.

    How many miles do people recommend I heard about 300ish to change oil or dealer say 500ish miles ?
    I am passed 300 on my new 23 grom, dealer said something about $400 sum to change oil 😐

    What is the info about the break in period

    • @hunterrides
      @hunterrides  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i believe your first change is at 400 Miles and then a second change at 600-800

    • @bitmap47
      @bitmap47 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      According ing to the manual and 2 service depts, it is 600 miles for break in and first oil change, then 4000 miles for second.they said there is no need for any sooner under normal riding. (Manual says filter not needed at first 600 mile service, but did it anyway. Hope this helps.
