- I don't recommend this kit! Please use this video if you already have this house and can't understand (same as I do) how to assemble it.

Let's start with what I like about this kit:
1. There are cute cats.
2. High-quality thick matte paper, paper parts and wallpaper stick very well.
3. Stickers. They are very easy and very convenient to work with - you just need to peel off the sticker and it's super easy to stick it on and no glue is needed. It's not my first DIY miniature dollhouse kit with stickers and I am really happy with this wonderful idea! But also note that not all paper parts are stickers: for example, parts that must be double-sided or three-dimensional - these are not stickers.
4. Gorgeous gothic style.
5. "Magic" in the name of this doll's house.
But all this is not enough to recommend it for purchase. At first I was happy and excited, I did the unboxing and I liked everything, I wanted to make 2 videos, one with the box opening and the second with the detailed assembly of the dollhouse, but then I decided that this house does not deserve two videos and one video about it is more than enough. Many details of this dollhouse upset me very much and I even wanted not to finish it, but most of the video had already been made so I decided to share my opinion with you.
So, what I didn’t like:
1. Newspapers - the designer should read all the text before adding it to the kit! I don’t understand why they can’t use neutral text like other designers do: about nature, beauty, style, recipes, etc. Some newspapers can be rolled up so text will be not readable, but one of them needs to be thrown away or even burned!
2. Tutorial book from pages 1 to 17 is clear and good, but starting from page 18 everything is very bad. It seems that the designer who wrote this book was tired, bored, or the beginning of the book was done by one person, and then they went on vacation and their work was continued by another person. Someone may say that I don’t have enough skill and that’s why it was difficult for me, but I’ve already made quite a lot of doll houses and I can see the difference between a good instruction and a bad one. This is really the first time I'm not happy with the instructions and the dollhouse and I can't recommend it at all! I didn't like the procedure, they suggest first gluing the wall to the floor, then gluing the window and decor to the wall. Yes, it is possible, but it is very inconvenient! Many of us use slow acting glue and then the pictures and other decor on the walls will simply slide down! It’s also not convenient to stick all this decor through small windows and doorways.
3. The rooms are closed by all 4 walls on all sides, so it will most likely be a decorative object or lamp, but not a doll's house. How to play with dolls even if you look at the details through small windows? I thought about taking pictures of the rooms later, but I wasn’t able to, everything is closed and it’s hard to see through the small windows. For example, the spiral stairs wasn't easy to make, it turned out very beautiful and is completely invisible because of walls, it’s a shame! Again, some people will like this, but I love when dollhouses are open, each item is clearly visible and you can play and making cute photos with dolls.
4. There were postcards (or posters) with Harry Potter books, so I cut off the book titles and the author's name and left only small pictures.
5. Display with butterflies and cabinet with animals and jars. Perhaps it will be ok for someone not as sensitive as me, but I didn’t like it.
6. May be this doll house is expensive because it's a new product, but for this money I could buy 2 large kits from Cutebee or even 4 small kits, where everything is perfect, both details and instructions.
I will definitely not buy dollhouses from this designer (GuangzhouJIA TECrafts Co). It’s a pity, they have style, but they are quite lazy and didn’t even read the text on the newspapers, or even worse, they read it and decided that it was acceptable!
About glue I use B-7000 clear, it's slow-acting, invisible and holds well. Sometimes when I don't want to wait I use fast acting super glue Moment gel from Henkel. But you can make all this kit with B-7000 only (or T-7000, T-8000). If you can't find B-7000 I recommend you to glue transparent parts (beads, lamps etc.) with Hard UV resin "QIAO QIAO DIY" instead of glue to create a beautiful transparent glass effect (clear acrylic UV resin) or you can use UV gel nail polish (not sticky "Soak-off" top).

I can recommend this seller, the house came well packed in a lot of bubble wrap, delivery took 15 days (5 days processing and 10 days shipping, weekends included, perhaps the order processing took so long because I ordered before the weekend but in the end I I received it quickly enough and I'm happy with the delivery). I hope the video will be useful and now it will be easier to assemble it knowing what exactly was not clear to me. I also forgot to add in the description, they also confused the colors of the wires, so I focused attention on this. It's easiest to look at the length of the wire, because the pictures don't match either. Despite all this, this dollhouse still has style and cute cats, as well as convenient stickers. The finished result is beautiful, but could have been better if the rooms were more open. I even thought about not gluing some of the walls, but then the markings and numbers on the floor would be visible. But on the other hand, it’s even convenient, you can see where to glue the walls and furniture and you won’t be able to make a mistake with their location.
But also, I couldn't help but notice your amazing nails!

I saw this video and absolutely loved this little house, I just bought the exact kit from the same company, it’s not the same quality, such a shame the colours in mine are not purple like this, they’re grey the quality of the colours in the print and stickers are no where near the colours and quality as this one😢

Thank you very much dear Maneerat! This is my first set from this designer and probably my last. This is the first time a dollhouse has given me such emotions and it shouldn’t be like that. I love absolutely all the dollhouses I have made before. For example, designers of cute houses always take care of their customers so that everyone is happy and their kits bring joy to all the customers and don't offend anyone. You know, this is probably good, if there weren’t such kit we wouldn’t be able to love good kits, good tutorial books and their designers as well!
I love the way these look, and I have this one and another. But I tend to put them on the back burner because of all the cutting and gluing. Might complete it before Halloween though.
I just finished mine. It took me 3 days. I recommend super glue for wood on wood gluing and craft glue for the paper objects. A sharp Exacto knife for cutting made it super easy. If you use a separate exacto knife at the wood connections you can just pop the connection. I used the nail file (I bought a few more)to gently sand the connections down.
Lots of pieces in my kit didn’t fit. Did you enlarge holes or make tabs smaller to make the ‘push-in’ joints work?
I think that's easier to use a sandpaper on those tabs than enlarging the holes (scrape the edges until they fit, it's okay if you rub off too much, they will be held in place with glue). In any case, it's difficult, needs lot of time and a lot of work! I'm very sorry that the parts you have don't fit together! To tell the truth I had just a few so I almost forgot about that (may be 2 or 3 parts) but other parts was ok and even the holes were too loose and the parts did not hold without glue
Considering you felt it was best to remove the harry potter themed things and any trace of its author, i think i can guess as to what the newspaper article you had to toss said. Thank you for giving us an honest review, i would have been so sad to buy this kit and find those unsightly surprises!

How do u know which cable is positiv oder negativ?
The white one is positive and the gray one is negative. About battery box the red one is positive and the black one is negative. You can find this info at the top right corner of the page 1 tutorial book. It is better to connect all the white cords together, and then screw them to the red one. Also all gray cords and one black cord

To tell the truth it took me the most time to figure out the bad instructions and then show in the video how it should have been done. All the previous houses I made was with really good instructions so that was much easier. I hope that my video will help you assemble this house much faster and easier! And I want to say that this one is not Cute Room it's other designers, who took a lot of ideas from Cute room, I think this was done to increase their sales. So it's one more reason why it's not as easy as all the previous.

Thank you very much dear Michael! I use tweezers from a manicure set and a regular metal ruler to bend paper parts. About glue I use B-7000. I'm very happy with this glue, it's slow-acting, 100% transparent, invisible and holds great and it's perfect for gluing anything that looks like glass. Before this, I tried many different ones but B-7000 glue is much better. When I don't want to wait I use fast acting super glue Moment gel from Henkel. But you can make every kit with B-7000 only. (T-7000, T-8000 are very good too). If you can't find B-7000 I recommend you to glue transparent parts (beads, lamps etc.) with Hard UV resin "QIAO QIAO DIY" instead of glue to create a beautiful transparent glass effect. It's clear acrylic resin that gets cured under UV or direct sunlight. Or you can use UV gel nail polish. But please note that it must not be sticky "Soak-off" top. If I have glue somewhere where it shouldn't be, I paint it on top with UV resin or nail polish because it's better to have a glossy glass or water effect than just a white patch of glue. If you can't find B-7000 or similar, I recommend you to glue all the paper parts with the slow-acting "MOMENT CRYSTAL transparent glue by Henkel" (or Patex). I used it before I found B-7000 and the result was great. I still use it for paper craft projects because it's much cheaper than B-7000, I had left over and it can be found at the nearest local store. It's perfect for paper and textile because it's almost invisible and has a rubber texture, it can be used for wallpapers, books, pillows and blankets. If you'll have any questions, please ask! @@AridaBjd do you have trick advice on how to be more gentle with cutting out the wood parts? I have broken some pieces in the past even when I think I'm being gentle and have new blades. It's my least favorite part of assembly for me when they come still in boards, they take too much time and isn't rewarding at all lol TIA!

How long did it take to assemble this set?
To be honest, it took me a little more than one week. That's not actually fast and I'm sure that without making a video, it can be done faster. I always do everything very slowly and it wasn't easy for me, despite the fact that I've already done a lot kits before. This house is not one of the easiest. It took me the most time to figure out the bad instructions and then show in the video how it should have been done. Other houses with good instructions can be assembled without any haste in 1 day, or if you spend a few hours in the evening, then over the weekend. I really hope that my video will help you assemble this house much faster and easier!

I completely agree with you! There are a lot of strange decisions in this house, many interesting pieces are completely hidden behind other pieces or even walls. It looks like there was an idea and style, but a lot of things are really strange and so unclear. And they have the same with it's tutorial book. A strange house but not it's not in a positive way.

I'm actually building it right now and is not as easy as it shows in this video, you need to glue all the wooden pieces and cut every single decorative papper...its not as easy at all as they pretend in the vidoe, the wooden pieces ans the little decorations need to be glued one by one
