  • Don't give me guff I spoiled results, please. We're all frustrated that a "big" pricing game win in this context hasn't happened since Season 36, what else am I supposed to title it? ;)
Also, that -0000 was really, really freaky. Here apparently Greco/Richards are trying to avoid DSWs as much as possible and they just left that all alone? Was it a joke to see if they left such a wide open price alone, would it still go by unharmed? (Because if it was...it did, by a mile. They need to learn contestants can control the budget FOR them too.)
Also freaky: simply ending in -555 (which I've seen before in a bid) instead of -500 would have resulted in an exact tie.

I think that’s the first time I’ve seen a showcase THAT EVEN! $40,000 even! Wow!

The heartbreaking part about the triple play loss was that Gwenda said that she knew what the correct price was on the third car, but ended following the crowd's influence...
Why contestants feel that the crowd is more knowledgeable than them always get me....try to make your own choice without seeking reassurance from the crowd

So, If She could've Played Triple Play and Showcases carefully, Maybe She got got a big day with $106,313 (or $130,758 if DSW could've happened).

Man, hearing the mustang convertible I thought that was probably $30k on its own! Tough one, Gwenda...

this one along with our most storied game of all have not been won fully, the latter having not been won fully in 8 years (Golden Road). they tend to bring that one out on my little brothers birthday, or on a infrequent basis

@AMEwrestling Great idea! You know, you're right about one thing. TEMPTATION & LET 'EM ROLL are greatest optional games on the show and I see reason or point in throwing them to the "RETIREMENT BOX". lol. As for SPELLING BEE, it's happened many, many times before when contestants bailed out if they weren't sure about their choices. I just they do the same thing with TRIPLE PLAY before it ends up in the "RETIREMENT BOX" like all the other games they've had.

Well at least had Gwenda bid 40,000, no one would've accused her of cheating. lol

@AMEwrestling And let's not forget LET 'EM ROLL, SPELLING BEE, & TEMPTATION as well. You know, I think we should write to CBS tell them to have TRIPLE PLAY an optional game. Don't you think?

@AMEwrestling You know, if they ever want to continue playing this game they're gonna have to make some changes with the rules. Don't you think?

What happens with a tie? Do they both win? Has it happened before?

    • @qaII56056
      @qaII56056 ปีที่แล้ว

They will each win their own showcase (If the same difference is less than $250 ($1000 & $500 in MDS; $100 before 1998), they both win everything) and It Has happened 1 time in History (In Carey-era or Barker-era).

I remember "Super Ball". I missed them so much, because it was a fun game based off a popular game called Skee Ball.

Had Gwenda bid $40,000, on her showcase, she would've gotten it right on the nose and won both showcases
Too much Peer Pressure is what really hurt her and even walked off the stage w/o hugging the winner
No offense, but that is poor sportsmanship on her part
    SAD!
