I know it's a bit cringy to say but. It's really, really well done. Unlike most tributes, you really use the song and the cuts, and the result is amazing. thank your for this
Great song and great story arc you matched up with it. I loved the touch that the line "join the dead" had footage of the zombie geonosians. Or "descend into darkness" with the super tanks falling... I could go on and on, you just match song and video so perfectly!
Just found your channel, always love to see Power Metal combined with Star Wars and other SciFi. Livgardet paired with the Coruscant Guard or Imperial Guard would be interesting to see. And I would find Powerwolf's Blessed and Possessed paired with the Genosian Brain Worms to be hilarious, if not macabre
ngl gonna miss Clone Wars forever, not gonna get any new TV shows, or movies on it ever again. It was awesome getting to watch this as a younger kid it was my childhood, and I will miss it so damn much I can't 😭
Awesome video GOC, and I was pleasantly confused as fuck with the cover version. For a future video, how would you feel about making a TCW AMV set to Live or Die by Sabaton (feat. Apocalyptica)? The song is about the sort of inevitability of war and the human suffering involved (Knight SGC made a beautiful AMV for it set to archival footage and Enemy At The Gates), and because it's Clone Wars the suffering bits shouldn't be hard to find. Throw in some sacrificial action for each chorus and you're good to go, I think. Hope you consider it. Have a nice day, GOC.
The Battle of Verdun lasted around a year and is considered one of longest consecutive battles in human history. It's unlikely that sorta devastation will ever be captured in Star Wars.
Amazing work like always! And while you usually use Sabaton, the song "Unlimited Sin" by Beast In Black has some serious Darth Vader/Maul/Sith vibes to it!
Just listened to the song, and considering the lyrics (especially "unlimited power" and "darkside"), I can see why you recommended it. Might give it a try in the future.

To tell you the truth, i am not a fan of these 'epic' versions. They just add fluff, without adding meaningful stuff to the music. Its more, but it just feels like filler.
Hello, thank you for your feeback and I understand your point. This said, I'm making my best to avoid this "add fluff", and write a consistent orchestral arrangement : I am trying to respect the original work the best way I can. The "Epic version" is more an algorythm friendly tool :) I will release the orchestral versions where you can here my work with more details, I hope you will see it another way :) But I agree with you, the song itself doesn't need anything more, it was written like this. It's just a fan made stuff. Maybe try my Gojira arrangement, it's more meaningful. Cheers !
Go check out the cover here. They also have an amazing To Hell And Back cover!

At this point you're just making me want to use a sabaton song in my Star Wars fanfiction.
Thank you :)
Can you make a video whit sabaton inmate 4859
@@sverrevalen4016 I said this in his latest video, but I think Echo in the last season of the clone wars would make a great Inmate 4859 video.
I knew i recognized this cover! Honestly like it more than the original.
THE MAN! THE MYTH! THE LEGEND! GENERAL OF CHAAAAAAAAAAOS!
With his good friend Scot Sterling
I see a studio C reference, I upvote
General of Chaos: Kept you waiting huh?
*looks around to see if anyone's posted this meme yet*
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one."
Unexpected, but not unwelcome
That opening...
*chef kisses fingers*
The legend is back
Indeed man
The symphonic additions really help this song fit into the star wars universe.
The perfect recommendation to finish my day
Looks amazing my guy.
The Second Invasion of Geonosis is one of my favorite Arcs from The Clone Wars.
But damn that battle was a slog and a goddamn bloodbath!
An interesting version of Fields of Verdun, but you have create a superb video with it.
Very nice work as always mate!
I see you posted a new video, I click. Also, a zombie Geonosian for "join the dead"? Brilliant.

At least the Bad Batch get their own series.
Upbeat and chaotic, perfect for the clone wars

My great grand father was awarded the Cross of war for his service at Verdun.
It live the rest of is life wondering how lucky he was to had survived
Holy cow this is so well made! I love both the clone wars and Sabaton so this was an amazing experience
I have to be honest. I didn’t know how well this combo would go, but you changed my mind quickly. Amazing work!
Holy shit it actually fits wasn’t expecting it to vibe that much with this arc
The Battle of Verdun lasted around a year and is considered one of longest consecutive battles in human history. It's unlikely that sorta devastation will ever be captured in Star Wars.
Geanosis does come close
@Sakkra101 which one? Krell or Anakin?
Though this does sound like Krell's M.O
Yeah the second battle of geonosis didn't last 303 days but sure seemed like it did for the clones
@@marseldagistani1989 no that was only a few months Mygeeto is the longest lasting nearly the whole clone war

hello there! good job as always mate! also, pretty funny, i just started binge watching TCW, and then this comes out, good to see you again general
The general is back
WHY does this fit TCW so perfectly?????
HE IS BACK! Wauw missed you so much!
The mad lad used the orchestral version, I love you man, great job. Bringing my old favorite thing in with my new favorite thing!
I’ve been looking for someone else who pointed this out lol
I thought it was the most powerful version by song breaker

I just noticed that the clone army is almost always moving from right to left
Because normally in cinematography that's the direction the bad guys come from
Only over 30k views?! How can they do this? This is outrageous! It’s unfair!
