    Good build young felah,l was young when we drove them around with guns towed on the back,hence that's why the Army requirements was a good diff at the back Salisbury. We used to hang them under choppers and fly them into remote spots to fire the guns on top of mountains. They are good to work on because you need limited tools and no computer system to reset or change any settings,the trade of comparable to new 4x4 is speed.

    Nice Landy ,love the Perentie , I lifted my ex army Tithonus 1.5" with OME springs, had some driveline vibes after but cured now, I fitted Gwyn Lewis cranked rear arms to give chassis bushes an easier time as well . please be careful cutting steel with no safety glasses, if you get that swarf in your eye and they can't get it out with a magnet they pick it out with a needle! Keep up the good work, greetings from a cold damp Liverpool. 👍

    I think it looks great. What wheels are you running on there? I'm shopping around now and want to have a similar offset to yours. Nice fit.

    I have a question for you experts in the 4x4 sector! (and I would like to know if you can tell me if it is true that the ironman nitro gas shock absorbers go well with the original set-up and can be adapted with the +5? I have a Suzuki jimny 4x4 with m13a 1.3 l petrol engine with shock absorbers and standard settings, yesterday afternoon I picked up the new ironman nitro gas shock absorbers and the 4x4 spare parts dealer in Florence told me that these ironman nitro gas shock absorbers are ok for 4x4 off-road vehicles with stock trim or in a second you could put the springs higher and it becomes a +5 high trim is that true? Greetings from Florence Italy!)

    Hi man, Awesome Truck!! Couple of question for you, what size rims and tyres are they? And can you send link to suspension to purchased?

    From the out-set, I'm a Landy owner have been for 25, but that has been lifted far higher than 2" rear and 1" front, sorry but your rock sliders are at least 4" inch lift. Also curious, if you have 11.5" inch travel, and you lift it 4" that's only 7.5" travel, unless you customize your shock turrets and rear shock pin lower, you have compramised your travel for lift, I know, I learned this a while a go, I had turrets made and rear shock pins lowered both 50mm, anyway not to be a stick in the mud, the suspension kits does look good, let us know how it handles.

    • @Bro_dye

      the perentie already has a 2 inch lift from factory, and he said its lifted a further 2 inches, so yeah would be a 4 inch lift

    Mate, I always cringe at people that state the obvious, but at the risk of being ''That Guy''...
    The Perentie is a 110.
    The Defender is a 110 (or a 90).
    The Defender is not a Perentie, and the Perentie is not a Defender.
    I loved your video, and hope to do mods similar to mine.
    Cheers, and well done.

      O.k so where were the perentie's made?
      Where were the 6x6 perentie's made?

    • @grantwatts681
      @grantwatts681 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, the 110 has wagon has a pay-load of 920 kg, the 130 has a pay-load of 1650 kg, only because of length, the 110 chassis on the percentile is a shorter version of the 130, and the 6x6 perentie 130, the 110 defender and 130 defender are the same spec, the chassis is made for the same load, that's why the army used the, they are all interchangeable.
      By the way, land cruiser 79 1120kg, 500kg less than a 130, and coil-over as-well.

    • @ramondeanchors
      @ramondeanchors 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@grantwatts681 What are you on about???
      I'm not entirely sure what this ''percentile'' is, but perhaps you should do some research into what a PERENTIE is...
      Like I said the Defender is NOT a Perentie, and the Perentie is NOT a Defender! They are both 110's though...
      The Perenties have a different chassis to the Defenders also, as you can tell by where the spare wheel is stored.
      Really though, who cares about the 130, 6X6, or the LC 79?? They weren't part of this story at all!
