Can't wait to see it finished Ivan. Don't give a Land Rover a Toyota colour. I still owe you a couple of beers...!!!!

I used the RBA inflation calculator. These cost $130k aud in 1988. RBA says it’s $310,000 aud today if you account for inflation. Dunno where you got 1million from

Absolutely brilliant! Everyone goes sandy taupe = boring. Go orange/black the same colour as your company branding!

As far as colour goes look up the SRV-SF variant. They did an awesome desert camo colour with two shades of tan. It looks awesome!

Hey mate just came into the vid now, as for the colour, I reckon you should go with the Aussie army colour but with a Raptor Liner,. I reckon it will stand out no matter where you drive it, good luck with the build mate, I'll be checking your projects throughout, cheers mate and take care 👍😁

Orange and black would really moderise it. I have only had my air defence 6 weeks and are camping commuting between port Macquarie and central coast. 600ks week. Condensation in winter needs to be considered with the aluminum roof. Front wall is double skinned but not the top. Im running a toilet, shower, 240v and 12v solar with 660amps of battery.
The winch is absolutely awesome. 8 forward speeds. Pulled my 4wd tractor out of a bog. Has a clutch as well. What are you doing for top speed. Im am now quite happy to sit on 85kms. Dont want to reduce off road capability and uphill power. Plan to fit solid side doors also. The vinyl is good but doors would be easier.

While sandy taupe looks good, I feel like almost everyone goes for that colour.
If you want to keep it looking somewhat military, the green is a good choice; otherwise, a grey/charcoal would look alright.
Or maybe even a marine blue?
