Hi Iain, thanks for the video, I bought some of this putty from MBFG who are actually here in Ireland, it's a great job. So to let you know I made some putty mould to cast stuff for a KV-1 tank and used sculpy. This I stuck in the oven at 130c for 20 mins and it does not affect the mould, a few of the items I cooked the mould three times and I didn't notice an issue/changes with the elasticity or tensile strength of the putty so it does work in the oven. I hope that's helpful, it was at 130 in a fan oven for 20 mins.
Oh fantastic news! Thanks for sharing, I’d imagine after prolonged use the oils in the putty would dry out but it would take a while at those low temps!
Team GG oh there are plenty of different mediums out there for making moulds, it all depends on what you want to mould, how many times and from what materials ;)
