Love hanging out with you and watching you work. Your bravery with that Stabilo is awe-inspiring. How you work that Mod Podge over it without turning it into a gray smear is a mystery I'm determined to solve because the shadow effects you get with it are gorgeous. And if you can find an easy method for drawing those devil appendages, your book will be worth its weight in gold to me.

I picked up some more books last week. I bought a really nice Art book recently that I'm going to turn into an art journal a fairly larger art journal. When I was visiting my daughter in Texas this past Xmas, I found a great vintage book that I said I wish I could lug that home. She looked at it and said, why do you want that book. I told her so I could take it home and gut it and destroy it and use it in my Art Journal. I thought her head was going to spin off her shoulders..lol She is a book fanatic and well, she just don't understand that some books can be dismantled and used in Art. Point in fact. One of her fav movies back when it was out was the Twighlight series. I believe it was the breaking dawn movie had a piece of mixed media art in the Dr Vamps home office. It's a canvas with book pages and a white tree painted. I had to show her that sometimes destroying a book is good for the eyes!! lol I love her!! She is absolutely gorgeous her and her nasty Ciggy!! lol

Just hanging out and looking cool. Put putting them to work gives them a whole new purpose for existing!!! Ok I'm going to disagree Ceramcoat and Americana paints aren't cheap craft paints. They were both developed for Decorative Artists and are high quality acrylics for that purpose.🙂
Yes absolutely they are inexpensive compared to buying heavy body acrylics for fine art. The quality is excellent compared to brands like Apple barrel etc. for best coverage look for opaque and matt colors. At one point I had almost 700 colors in those two brands. Decorative painting seems to have once again fallen out of favor but I still have all my books and magazines.
No, I completely agree, I do love them which is why I use them all the time. And I adore their matte finish. I really did just mean inexpensive! I can't believe you had 700!!!!!! JEALOUS!!!!
