She has some major personality disorder and malignant narcissism. Doesn't seem like the brothers (that includes OP's husband) have the same unhinged behavior.
Yeah exactly. When I was in elementary and middle school, I used to pick up cans and bottles for some cash, and I would always give money to my family for things we needed. I would also do the same in high-school, but I stopped collecting cans and sold some chocolates instead.
Spoiled entitled children turn into spoiled entitled adults, and the SIL in this story is the posterchild of that. I honestly can't believe that it took the mother that long to open her eyes on how god-awful this woman really was... and she STILL put up with her for some reason. I just dont know why they all didnt just disown her rather then go through all of that crap. You really cant help people that wont help themselves.
First we had a brother who wanted a house for himself after kicking the OP when he was homeless Now we have a sister who wants to be treated like a princess but doesn't have $10 to help her mother who had given birth and parented her for years Great people
You need to understand the mothers point of you I’m she didn’t just push that brat out of her from labor, she may be at fault but she is also not to blame, she always takes her back whenever and that’s actually really great for a mother to do that maybe knowing inside that the SIL might do it again but making her self believe that she changed ❤
@@jennierjennier8755that's what makes it so freaking sad...betcha she takes after the dad and the mom sees that and blames herself, the sister is the burden she has to bear, because the, ultimately, although weak, is a good person
Wow, what a story. It is a shame though that she can't keep her word about going no contact with her family. She will probably contact them again if she needs something. And why in the world did she get a second dog ? She just gave the second brother more work.
MIL is the solely to put all the blame on for all the mess the SIL grew up to be. she forgave her for her every little misdeed and never once reprimanded her actions
That's insane, that an in-law would do that. I was spoilt as a boy, but nothing like this. I learned growing up that nothing is free. If I need something, or want something bad enough, I have to pay for it with my own money, I have to earn that money.
This makes me so sad to know that there are families put up with this crap. My parents are very kind people especially my dad, he’s always helping others and he rarely gets anything back. It breaks my heart to see this happening to him and other people💔
OP invites the toxicity by not establishing boundaries and holding her husband responsible for giving in to the sister and the mother enabling the behavior, the dad does. Not feel guilt and is not enslaving himself to the daughter’s behavior.
as soon as u start arguing with them, u participate in their game. dont argue. tell them what to do and what happens if they dont do it. they feel much better by knowing that, than being free to do their bull shi

If you have known all this time how rotten your SIL is, even if your husband overlooks it and puts up with it, why do you help her? I certainty would not have ever borrowed her that $700. I would’ve told her to eff off and figure it out herself.
This was my sister before the family ambushed her with an intervention and again after our dad passed away. She went to rehab for pills and booze, now she lies and says her addiction was pills and drinks all the time. At our father's funeral, she was getting a bunch of cousins together to go drinking and mom called her out as a recovering alcoholic. The cousins all backed out of the drinking plans and my sister resorted to getting drinks with her trashy friends that we didn't want at the funeral in the first place. What's really sad is that mom met with the family lawyer after the funeral service, rather than going out to dinner with family or friends, and wrote my sister out of the will. She only let me know because I kept calling her out of concern that she'd do something rash. When we met the next day for breakfast, my mom apologized, saying that she doesn't envy the drama that I'll have to deal with after she's gone.

I am shocked that there are not a lot of feminists railing about "a man telling a woman to calm down". But seriously, the OP is totally right. That entitled female sibling would deserve to have the worm turned on her.
About 1% of this was about some 10$ somewhere there once upon a time, the rest was a mother and to a great extend the family tolerating, if not flat out enabling a narcissistic, troubled, propably legitly mentally unwell young woman.
My Aunt: "At least I care for my parents!!!" I payed back my sister's brother in law, my mother and my mother-in-law, totalling just over 5k... and none of them had even expected it. You pay back your debts, give even more when you can, and don't be petty! Edit: unless he liked the dog, they should have gotten it a new home.
Based on what we know about the sister in law I don't blame that boyfriend not only telling her we r breaking up but to go pound sand. I would have dumped long before a year if she is that spoiled.
*Story 1:* Assuming this story is true, OMG! Talk about spoilt sister-in-law! I don't get why she acts like she does. All the money in the world shouldn't justify such hideous attitude.
This is what happened to my cousin (my brother-in-law's nephew) he slept all day, didn't buy food from the grocery store for me, my sister & family, he didn't take a shower in 4 full days (3 days is my limit for skipping a shower) AND he burned all of the bridges for friends, family, & his weed runner before I forget he did broke a television in the living room after a heated argument which I was watching cartoons which my niece carried my kid nephew into my room I did say "Can you stay in here & watch T.V." Why were they showing the sister in law respect i would have told her to feck off and never even call anyone or ask for a favour and they just keep forgiving her despite the fact that she doesnt show them respect that family needs to grow a spine with family a scammer family or not has to be shown punishment
If I was the OP's husband I wouldn't help or enable the spoiled sister I would ignore or block all contacts with her from the start and I will not recognize her as my sister or I'll say to myself I don't have a sister especially a self entitled spoiled brat one

But she's too nice and there are also complications with my grandmother and whose names are actually on the deed to her house. You know, even though said names contribute jack to said house.
