    Looked like a beautiful sunny day for filming. I continue to enjoy your paramotor reviews, you got a good eye to point out important details.

    Straight and to the point. So refreshing. How do you check fuel level during flight? Squeeze the bag?

    • @iKenFlyPPG
      @iKenFlyPPG ปีที่แล้ว

      You're asking the guy who hears the phrase 'run out of fuel' then responds to that with "challenge accepted".

      Best option is to know your burn rate and how much you put in. Kind of like when I learned to fly an old Cessna 152 and used paint stirrers to determine fuel level, didn't trust the gauges inside, and was conservative about burn rate. But yes I squeeze it too. I recently flew 1 gallon exactly on that motor for 1.5 hrs so that was good to know.

      @@MarkHuneycutt 0.67 gal/hr is what dreams are made of, what wing and loading? Another youtuber suggested the Warp/2 has one of the best efficiencies for XC in their opinion... Curious if you're on an advanced glider.
      Light bulb, have you tried the Gaggle app fuel gauge function? I'll have to try it out once I get a good average burn for my setup, I'm mostly grounded atm, winter city boy here.

      @@iKenFlyPPG 20m Gin Falcon. I was flying the Pulsar which weighs 41.5lbs, add fuel, 5lb reserve, me at 170ish. I've heard good fuel efficiency with the Warp 2 but am now content with my wing. I haven't tried the Gaggle app. Need to use it more in general

    Great video. Seems like this kit would make the pulsar frame about the same weight as the star frame? Any pros and cons to report between those two?

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The star is a stronger frame so it is heavier. I'm a bigger fan of the Pulsar for being lighter.

    The kickstand overall is not a feature I would like, I prefer the fixed base. The fuel bladder is a lot of trouble it looks like. Is there and option to put a fuel tank on it? Other really neat machine.

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Kickstand is cool for having all that fuel in the seat. It doesn't bother me. I don't think there's a tank option but I could be wrong.

    I’ve heard somebody try to tell me about the Adam 80 had more torque actually than the 185.
    Which I’m not saying, I believe that . But I have heard it multiple times.

    • @TrevorSteele1
      @TrevorSteele1 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't. On that one frame (not to be named) it did. On every other frame, it doesn't.

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely not true. I don't notice it on the Pulsar. I've seen people change engines out and have their arms backwards though 😂. That'll make things real torquey

    Good review Mark. I would not put too much faith in a flimsy fuel bladder like that. It just seems that it would be prone to a serious leak at some point. Your thoughts?

      Good question. It's hard to say. I've heard they've dropped these off buildings without damage

    I have 2 Skyrunner frames from Russia. I cannot get replacement parts for them because of the war. Is this frame available in the US currently and are parts readily available?

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Please reach out to Pinnacle Paramotor on Facebook or at their website. This frame is available and so are parts!

    How does this unit compare with the Maverick with the atom?

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Maverick is a nice machine as well. The Maverick is a little heavier, better fuel tank AND more fuel capacity, different design. That's about it.

      Wing typically around $3500. Unit around $7500

    I wouldn’t be to keen on having a flimsy plastic bag carrying my fuel under my seat that could burst open in a crash, plus you don’t know how much fuel you have because you can’t see it👎

    • @MarkHuneycutt
      @MarkHuneycutt  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been flying it a lot lately. I just top it off and know I have at least 1.5 hrs of flight time if I'm aggressively climbing/flying. Much more time if cruising. The double walled bag is very strong. I've seen prop strikes on the regular fuel tanks on a butt landing that spray fuel everywhere.
