Hi. Thanks for these guides. Best I've seen. I have a problem to connect a single AirPodPro-Gen1 to my iPhone. It is in the case. I've done the factory reset procedure. But I cannot connect as single AirPod not to my iPhone. Any ideas how to do it ?
There can be many variables causing this issue. 1. **Check If the AirPod is Charged** - Make sure the single AirPod is in the case and has enough charge. Plug the case in to charge for a few minutes if you're unsure. 2. **Ensure the AirPod Case is Charged** - Even if you're only trying to connect a single AirPod, the charging case should also have a charge. Double-check the case's battery level. 3. **Check for Firmware Updates** - Firmware updates for AirPods are automatically installed when connected to an iPhone. Ensure the other AirPod (if you have it) is working and up to date. If one is missing, check if your AirPods have the latest firmware. 4. **Reset Your AirPods Again** - Since you already performed a reset, it might be worth doing it once more to ensure the procedure was fully completed. Here's the reset process again: 1. Place the single AirPod in the charging case. 2. Keep the lid open. 3. Hold the **setup button** on the back of the case for about 15 seconds until the **status light** flashes amber, then white. 4. Release the button once the white light starts flashing. 5. **Pair the Single AirPod with the iPhone** - After resetting, follow these steps to pair it: 1. **Open Bluetooth settings** on your iPhone (Settings > Bluetooth). 2. Open the lid of the AirPods case with the single AirPod inside. 3. Bring the case near your iPhone and wait for the pairing prompt to appear. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the single AirPod. If it doesn’t show up, try turning Bluetooth off and on again on your iPhone. 6. **Clean the AirPod & Case** - Dirt or debris in the charging case may affect the connection between the AirPod and the case. Use a soft, dry cloth or a brush to clean the case’s internal contacts and the single AirPod. 7. **Test with Another Device** - If the single AirPod still doesn't connect to your iPhone, try connecting it to another device (like an iPad or another iPhone) to see if the issue is specific to your iPhone. 8. **Use Find My App** - If the other AirPod was lost or disconnected recently, ensure that "Find My" isn't trying to locate it, as it could prevent the single AirPod from being used properly. 9. **Check Your iPhone's iOS Version** - Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Firmware and iOS updates often resolve connectivity issues with accessories like AirPods. If none of these methods work, it could be a hardware issue with the AirPod or the case. At that point, contacting Apple Support or visiting an Apple Store for further diagnostics might be the best option.

Hi, does this method remove the tracking of the device from the previous phone it was connected to?
Yes, this will remove tracking from the previous owner once the AirPods have been successfully reset.
