I recently found something similar to this on a 1998 did have a cheap amazon microscope I used to take closer look but wasn't able actually put a name to it but I do definitely know doesn't belong to the Lincoln Penny design. Obviously I'm new to the world of coins and collecting your content has been really helpful and educational for me thank you !!!!

You suggest bringing coins to 3 people in our area to get an idea. I live on long Island & believe it or not there are 3 guys spread out between Manhattan, Queens & Merrick in Nassau country. Queens is always too busy won't meet in have to send pics & $, Manhattan is costly just for them to look at it - & Merrick guy isn't honest by a mile. I'm in the financial capital of the world & don't have many options for finding out about coin value lol its ok I'll just sell on ebay & charge whatever people want to pay- unless I think I found one of these

generally speaking, die clash coins never look the same. the remnants of the clash create different planchete damage with each strike. the chances of finding one just like that one are extremely low
@@OMP I assume that's why the predicted price is so high ... They know what I know. Now that's not to say the next strike might have had something minor along with the discovery coin strike error, but I've learned over the years that there's another side to "coin collecting" ... I know how crazy it sounds, but I suspect that some of these auctions are strictly to make invisible payoffs for "services rendered" (if you know what I mean) and to launder money, where the purchaser writes a check to the recipient, but the actual payoff never takes place. This gives the seller an excuse to have an extra hundred grand in his/her account with a perfectly logical and legal explanation for where it came from ... I've been doing this a long time and there are legitimate sales, but die clash coins are quite common. A couple of recent sales have left me perplexed and suspicious that my long time suspicions are correct.
I know how conspiratorial it sounds ... But at the same time it explains a lot, and answers a few questions. I could be way off base, but everything points at the same bullseye ...
