Our tap water has more chemicals in it than you can imagine. Might as well have a beautiful space too relax and forget the reality of a modern world. Nice work. Your profession is better with you in it. (Can’t say that about most places these days) thank you for sharing and informing me. 👍🏻
There are many layers to protect the enviroment from the resin, but what protects the swimmers from the resin that is right in the water( no layers of protection). Btw love this pool
Once the pool is cured, the sand/resin shell is dry, no resin in the water. The curing process takes a couple days then a sealant is applied before adding water.
How well do they stand up to frost and ground freezing in the winters? Any concerns with heaving or cracking? Thinking of something about 50’x30’ feet.
Great news, once the pool shell is built, cured and hardened; the resin becomes inert. When resin is inert, it poses no threat to contact or the surrounding environment. Great question, thank you.
Not sure what you are referring to that could get stale?.. the pool has equipment that sanitizes, filters and cleans the water. Functions as a standard pool, just built completely different with natural materials to give it a natural ambiance.
Equipment can be setup for salt or chlorine. There are a couple Biodesign dealers near you in NY. Check out Biodesignusa.com to find a dealer near you.
It’s possible but I wouldn’t recommend it. There is a specific recipe to follow while building these pools. If the sand was applied to concrete it wouldn’t allow the full effect of what the pool has to offer. Check out our site for more in depth detail on the build.
There is no way it costs that much in material and labor. Even with the bs excuse that your sand material is imported from Italy. Not even that much dirt being excavated and hauled out. A regular sized pool with much more excavation and hauling out dirt, as well as materials and labor costs about $30-40k in reality, yet a contractor with charge you $80-100k. I’m a contractor/builder by the way.

Facts, our city water is heavily chlorinated in our area. We appreciate the kind words!
Nice production quality!

Fellas, you missed the most important part of the presentation what is the cost range of this lagoon?
Our beach pools start around $55k, depending on features, equipment, size etc.
😊
What kind of resin is it so I can see if I'm allergic

what is that new thing with filming people diagonally from the side??? It makes me crazy, it makes no sense
What if someone wants to build one, that's far away from your country. Is DIY is available..?
We don’t offer DIY, I recommend you check out your local Biodesign Pool Dealer or a dealer near you.
is it the same getting recycled? will it go stale at some point?

One more question, can the sand/resin mix adhere to cinder block to make a hybrid pool?
It really depends. These pools require a specific recipe to build
Can you give out the recipe because this kind of pool does not exist anywhere on the West Coast
@@njione Where do you live?
Salt or chlorine filter. Thanks. Great job. Do you have a company in long island new york ?

@@vividlandscapepros Thank you I live in Texas I want this badly! and this is one for the BOOKS
Can you use regular sand from the beach ?
No, this sand is from Italy and has been refined, made just for these pools.
@@vividlandscapeproswhere do you buy a sand like this? And a train like this?
Resin
Nice job! Well done! Did you change the color of the resin/sand mix at the bottom to get the emerald green color?
Thank you, yes we use different colored pebbles for the expansion joints.
Does resin leak into the water?
No, it is used as a bonding agent for the sand to create the pool shell. Once cured, it’s as hard as concrete.
Can you show a grid for the plumbing?
Can the mineral/resin mix be troweled onto the a concrete pool base that has gentle sloped sides?
It’s possible but I wouldn’t recommend it. There is a specific recipe to follow while building these pools. If the sand was applied to concrete it wouldn’t allow the full effect of what the pool has to offer. Check out our site for more in depth detail on the build.
Is it slippery when walking on it?
No. The texture is smooth but your skin can grip nicely.
What is Compared to regular underground popl??
That is 20 to 30% cheaper than a regular pool that size
Is it a chlorine pool
Yes, we recommend chlorine paired with a UV sanitation system.
Do you offer DIY tutorials?
Size pool?
Approx 425-450 sq ft
i want this in my back yard but i dont want it to be deep at all
6 Feet isn't that deep. And you can make them as shallow as you want.
What is the cost of this?
This size and style of pool is approximately $70-80k. Always depends on the features and equipment installed that affects the cost of a pool.

Can't someone out there just make a natural clay lined pond and just add beach sand? Tired of all this cement crap and plastic junk.
Yeah, that’s a possibility too. Plenty of options for all types of applications.
The pool is nice but damn he's fine as hell!!!🧐👀🤔🤨🫣
