I think a beacon nerf in favor of bigger direct heals sounds like a good trade off. Beacon still acts like a hot to keep them topped off. But we can actually get a target backup when **** its the fan
Beacon nerfs are not going to annoy many people. Almost everyone I know who plays the spec would gladly sacrifice it - some would even like to see it go altogether - if in return we get better direct healing spells. Unfortunately if some of the buffs come anything close to what you're suggesting, I see those getting nerfed back down again. But what really makes the class feel bad to play right now is the number of cooldowns. I'd gladly see 2 or more disappear in order to get a more streamlined experience. My definition of fun engagement is not spending so much time keeping track of cooldowns, I fail to even notice how good the environment, raid or whatever looks. I no longer care about lore and story, I just mash buttons in turn, avoid bad, and move to the right places. I would love to be able to look up and admire the scenery once in a while - and not have to wait until the end of season, when I'm overgeared for content, to experience it.
I just wish Pally's had a BEEFY long heal, similar to a cast time of a greater pyro/chaos bolt. It really wouldn't be our go to spell all the time but would be great for people that are teetering around 30% above the execute range. It would emulate that "FEEL GOOD" crit spell as a healer.
Beacon heal solution easy; each beacon applied takes away 25% off main heal. No beacon out your main heal @100% power. Example: Direct heal/ no beacon - direct heal 100% Direct heal/ 1 beacon - direct heal 75%, beacon 25% Direct heal/2 beacon - direct heal 50%, each beacon 25%
Say you're in a raid and you cast Virtue does that mean you just mega gimped yourself for 8 seconds when the sixth person takes damage? Think you need to cook a bit longer on this one
Noone wants to use sacrifice simple due to it has a big chance of killing you, this is not really changing...... Holy power is terrible, needs to be removed. No buff to holy light. 3 single target heals??? We are still stuck spamming Holy shock.....
