On a minor not, when you described in a previous vlog that you didn't have a shower until you were 17, a good idiomatic expression for that is "I had to take sponge baths". Keep up the good work.

This is a very interesting story to me. Because I am 53, I am from the lost generation of gays in America when most of us all died because of AIDS. Because of this, I have no experience in these clubs and have never seen this dancing where you pay only $20. I was surprised it is so cheap. But, I am also very unaware of these private dances. Is this a way to describe prostitution to get around the laws against it? It is a way to say you are paying for sex?

Yes, Hippie Hollow is still there on Lake Travis over by RR 2222 and RM 620 and Splash and First Splash still happens every year. Been there a few times. You gotta remember to bring your sun screen and some inner tubes or your own boat, pontoon or wave runner and be there by 11am and BYOB unless you can get some from the party boat.
@@mjohnson9563 haven't been there since the early 90s, went with a older friend. Nice place to lay out on the rocks, or hike the trails to get to the farther spot away from entrance. Ran into my first rattlesnake on the trails butt naked except shoes, but no one got hurt after carefully talking it thru with the others on the trail. Good old days of yesterday.
