one funny thing about Ronaldo is that his mother is almost as popular as him in Portugal. She is often used to exemplify mother's love and what a mother can do. she also does a lot of comercials, her stong accent from Madeira island makes her voice very recognizable and her image as a great mother makes her an asset in marketing. She is knowed by her generosity and humility, and her life story is used to show what mothers can stand for their kids, and that's a strong mensage in the very family-driven portuguese society

Cristiano is perfect and unique. What sets him apart from others is that he is the most famous celebrity without "trying". Meaning that hes fully focused, commited and proffesional to his craft. Other athletes get distract and lose points on their proffesion trying to turn themselves into superstars like Beckham Neymar etc.

I am missing a point here. He sold his image rights to a businessman to grow more popular in Asia. Good.
But how exactly did that benefit him? Percentage of revenues? Important clauses which only Ronaldo gets? I think the video is lacking some of the juicy things this channel is usually providing.

Growing more popular means more fans, which brings more traction, which means more money, Im sure he does get a percentage off of revenue made from his image. Advertisements, etc etc.
But since we don’t know specifically what was in his contract I too wonder about the clauses, a grant back clause sounds like a good thing hopefully that was part of a clause, so when he does pass away his kids can have ownership of their fathers image

I think what AI meant is that, by selling (partnering) his image right to Peter Lim, it help CR7 reach his current publicity, his stardom, his 300millions followers. Hence CR7 is also profited from it. It help sustaining the CR7 brand and also all of his other business. I am pretty sure CR7 also got a portion of profits that Peter Lim generated from his image right.
