Is it detectable on the other end when companies remote into desktops?
inspite what he may say... yes it is... as an it professional for a contact center with at home employees... we are trained to tell when something is connected to the computer... the computer will always detect when a usb is active regardless if its a hid or just a power delivery device... it will show up in the event viewer and certain software will automatically send us the event viewer when it detects a new usb device... that being said... just plug it into the wall or battery bank and the computer wont detect that being connected... however just also keep in mind that while the mouse movers are not detected when a company determines that your productivity has gone down they may request that your screen recordings are viewed... once we see that your mouse is moving slowly across your screen and not doing anything else we will know exactly whats going on and begin to document when it happens how often and how long... avoiding work is always a gamble... roll the dice if you must...
