Please help. I had a giant holiwood for 20 years and it was brilliant but thought I would treat myself to a new bike. I bought a Trek FX2. Riding it is terrible. It felt dangerous. The man selling it to me to watch me riding it out of his shop. I got nervous so never road it further. He was making me feel as though I was going to steal it. Now I'm stuck with a £500 bike. It's too late to take back so perhaps I can sell. My giant bike was soft and so comfortable. Please any advice.
Yikes, sounds to me like you’re used to a mountain bike. A mountain bike and the FX2 (fitness bike) feel completely different! That is awful that you were pressured into the sale. The good thing is bikes are very high demand right now and you shouldn’t have a problem selling if it’s not a comfortable bike for you!
Oh thank you so much for replying. Apologies for the delay. I'm sorry I don't know your name. Yes I've got a Giant Hollywood bike. I've had it for ,18:years and a beautiful bike to ride(ladies bike). I think 17 inches so myself not being very tall. Anyway I gave my daughter it and thought I would treat myself to a new bike so bought a lovely silver on Fx2. I had a short ride outside the shop. Anyway so paid £500, which was reasonable. Got home and tried it but terrible to ride. Hard to ride it but hard on the road and felt uncomfortable. Hard to describe really but no where as comfortable as my giant.my giant measured 17" and the trek classed as small. But hard to ride. Measured the wheels and it was 2 and a half inches bigger than the giant. Anyway the shop let me have a refund. So now on my bike hunt again. The bike I would like would be a hybrid more road riding than mount Everest?!! Perhaps you could help. I'm so grateful you texted me back. I'm 5"2 . Not keen on the bikes that looks like a lady from Austria with a basket on the front going for a stroll! Please keep in touch and give me information. I'm so grateful you responded. @@mtbridersanonymous9152 Hey enjoyed it immensely!!✌🏾☺️ I’ve subbed man to check out more because I’m investing in a Trek FX2 2022 model plus a Marlin 7 XL for next year’s adventures!! I reside in 🇯🇵 Japan and will be getting my FX first for my Exercise/Commute & Speed needs. The Trek Marlin 7 will be my UATV!!= Urban Attack Thrill Vehicle 👍🏾🤣 (This Supply debacle is Killin’ me‼️😖) ☝🏾🤨Let me tell ya’...Tokyo streets are Death Invitational Grounds my fellow Trek Pilot!! Taxis have rubber stamps & dibs on Bikers,..HP & Hp‼️(that’s Horsepower & Human powered) Pedestrians are zombies bent on STAYING in your way!! It’s mind blowing how Japanese prefer to choose the most narrower of passage than the wider /open space right or left side route once faced head on with one in front of them!,..doesn’t matter if there’s clearly NOT enough room!!..they just press on with their intentions despite the hazards‼️ +..NO consequences face them if hit or involved in an accident,..Law sides with ‘em NO MATTER WHAT the hell happen and where the fault lays ‼️It’s some real BS so,..if they are in the way ,..know you’ll lose anyway so just intend to harm ‘em as much w/malice to make ‘em think twice about that possible paralyzation about to happen!! (My new Motto!!🤬) Anyway,..I’ll be checking in on ya’ to see,..learn (from the best + experienced FX2 riders!) and give my 2cents from time to time ok! ✌🏾Safe Riding & serve us TREK Riders proud huh!! b(‘_

Many thanks Patricia.
@@patriciagriffiths398 so glad they refunded it for you, maybe look into cross country bike or entry level mountain bike like the Trek marlin5 if trek is a bike brand you want to stick with? I’m sure you will find something you love soon!
I have never heard of paying to park at work. That's awful.
Yea… lol
Pay to park at your job???? Thats ridiculous!!!
Yeah it’s a major bummer lol
I pay $50 a month to park at my job 😭👎🏾
It’s so annoying lol, I don’t pay I ride every single day and if I really can’t ride because the weather is so bad I’ll park at the pay lot and just pay five bucks for the day
WTF you should NOT have to pay to park at your job my man
That’s some shit having to pay to park at work that’s dumb
Yea, with the cost of gas combined with the cost of parking driving to work is no longer affordable, unless there is snow and ice on the ground haha
Why are you riding on the shoulder of a highway? That's illegal.
With gas cost rising and parking cost more than tripling in one month I feel like I just need to ride my bike 🤷♂️Problem is there’s no alternate way to take… BTW awesome username lol
