Hi there!! I really need your help as I need some information about double degrees such as BMed/MSurg And also there is this thing VCE curriculum which is required in most of the universities but as for someone from Asia, do I have get enrolled in that even after completing my HSC only to get it converted into ATAR.
Hi there, just clarify - VCE is the equivalent of HSC but for different Australian states. VCE is in Victoria, HSC is for New South Wales. At the completion of both, you’ll receive an ATAR. I’m not sure I can help you any of the specifics as I’m not that familiar with the application process/converting scores for international students. Hope that helped!
Thank you, this video was super informative. For the standardised interview score, is it possible to receive multiple place offers from different unis? Or can you only get one place offer per round?
Glad it was helpful! If you’re applying to universities that operate through the GEMSAS system, you can only receive interviews/offers from one university - this will be the highest university on your preference list that grants you an offer. For e.g even if you theoretically are ‘accepted’ by universities ranked 2,4,5 and 7 on your preference list, you will only get an official offer from #2 and you will not have the ability to ‘choose’ from any of the universities below. Of course, when you apply to universities that are external to GEMSAS (USyd etc), you can get multiple interviews/offers from each university that you apply to. Hope this helps!
