What do you think about Tecomec Jolly Evo? Its price is affordable compared to other machines. I saw that you are using it. Should I buy Tecomec, Oregon or Sthill? Are there big differences between them? I wonder what you think?

@verystronknl I guess the Stihl is very good but expensive. TECOMEC Jolly Evo is well priced at $360 AU all the Oregon grinders are very good also. Whatever you buy make sure you get a sliding vice so you can do 10° tilt or wheel center alignment

I would buy what is regarded as a good grinder. You don't need a Stihl USG grinder to do basic chainsaw sharpening. OREGON TECOMEC are all very good.

@@ChainsawUsers Thank you for your answer. I bought a Tecomec brand machine. The vise is not of very good quality, the vise tolerance is not very good, yes it does a good job, it could be much better. Not all blades are the same length. The length of the right blades and left blades of the chain needs to be rechecked and adjusted.

The length really does not matter if you use a progressive depth gauge as it sets the hight correctly. Thos flat gauges you need to have the same length as they do not compensate like the Stihl progressive gauge. My vice on the jolly evo has slight side play but nothing to worry about. Also remember on a new chain you can also get some small length variations asthe cutters are pressed out metal not precision made. It is normal to get tooth variations on left and right in any machine. Even my Stihl USG is not perfect. These grinders are not a precision piece of equipment but that said they do a good job
