Looks like you got what you paid for. I'd prob do same thing. Black looks good but I like them Red. Just dont put a foot of spacers with low-pro's and it'll stay badass

You must live in California or some high dollar state. 4k+ for a maaco job is insane. I recently did a Chevy 4 door pickup that we had to strip the roof, hood, and tops of the bedsides and replace both rusted rockers with new metal! Did all repairs and painted the whole truck and wet sanded and buffed for only $6500!

California has strict and dumb paint laws that inflate prices and limit the types of paint you can use. Also most of the restoration type shops here have pivoted to strictly insurance repair because it’s more lucrative and less time consuming. They say they still do restorations…but they try to kick you soo far down the road or give you an insanely high estimate to send you on your way. No one out here is painting full cars with body work for $6500. I collected 14 estimates this year to paint my car and none were even close to that number. And even if you do find a shop to paint your car for $15k…no guarantees on when you’ll see it again. A family friend has been waiting 2 YEARS for his car to be painted and is in a legal battle over it. It’s messy out here in Cali.

@@simplyswith7064 You need to send your cars to my shop. Most of our classic car's paint, bodywork and reassembly is done in less than 6 weeks. We just completed a 1971 nova's all new exterior sheet metal and bodywork in 15 days including disassembling the car. And the customer is only at $6000 in labor so far! Unless you are building a SEMA or trailer queen car, it doesn't take long to do these old cars correctly!

Hey man sorry. Just seein this. They didn’t get to all that but they did paint under the hood at least (for an extra $300) lol. Maaco is the king of upsells. Quote started at $1600 and got up to over $4k. - Magdump
