I think he has the resume to be a first ballot HOF'er. However, it will all depend when he retires and who retires that same year. For a four year stretch, TD was the best rb in the league by far! 2000 yard rusher and powered the broncos to two súper bowls. Had his career not been cut short by injuries, there’d be no question to his Hall Of Fame worthiness.

Probably the biggest reason, he doesn't get enough recognition. However, TD's best years, as few as there may have been, were better than Frank Gore's best years. So if I was building a long-term situation, I'd take Gore, but for an epic few set of seasons or so, I would take TD.

The reason Frank gore doesn't have highlight real is because he has always done the dirty work. I've always hate him in the 49ers but when he left and was older and still rushing for over 1000 a season and to get 24 touches for runs a game still. Dude earned my respect.
