What are the benefits to using the other mesh control options of free and structure. If there was no benefit then Abaqus should only give you minimize transition as an option , there must be a reason the others one exist. Could you help with that?

Hi, If a Abaqus session ends abruptly (power loss, crash etc.) the is a recovery file with extension .rec that can help to restore. Abaqus automatically presents you the option to recover when you open the model the very next time.
