Planets with waterfalls and volcanos. Huge mountains to climb, diving, uderwater exploration, evil companions, kill cam, gore. Things that Bethesda done years ago....
Evil companions that you can romance would be nice The companions you can romance are nice but they are all goodly two shoes that get mad when you do pirate things and it takes the fun out of it when all the romance companions complain about it and talk down to you I want evil companions you can romance I also want to be able to adopt children like Skyrim And other things to the game
Perfectly put. I love this game but these are all things we expected to have and we have in other Bethesda games. I would only add an index, codex, glossary, etc., about planets and moons, species and lore.
Being able to take over an abandoned location on a planet or an abandoned space station and turning them into a settlement with colonists and stores etc
@larrybraham4884 absolutely, we need to be able to build and manage proper settlements/stations. I was hoping to expand on FO4s system, not go backwards...
My wish list: Pets (Cora even asks for one!), control over door/ladder/stair placement in ships, ship design saves (blueprints) that can be shared online, ship parts inventory so we can move parts between ships, personal space stations with 10 docking ports max so you can park all your ships there (might be more feasible than a land based hanger situation), expanded companion/romance count (I want to romance Muria Siarkiewicz :), gun and suit blueprints (they mention them in the game, ie when you get a tour of the Key as Naeva says you can buy blueprints from Zuri?! With trait enchantment as you said), oh yeah, weapon and suit skins obviously are already in the game, just not fully implemented. There are a ton of clothing options on NPCs, why can we not get all of these from stores and loot boxes?
(haven't played, watched a bunch of reviews) * Starfield New Vegas: No unkillable NPCs, Have real consequences for faction choices. * Skyrim in space _in space._ The bethesda exploration formula does not map to unlimited procedural words, but you _could_ map it 1-1 to a purely inspace portion of the game. Instead of a mountain, you see a nebula or pulsar. Instead of a dragon, you are diverted by an immense warship of space lifeform, following that, instead of stumbling upon a nondescript hut, you could detect a radio beacon. interstellar dust could act like mountain ranges. Allow the player to travel from 100km above one world to any other (this avoids the much greater effort of landing seemlessly) * Yeah, have a communicator as those space games typically provide. I would limit it to lightspeed so you still have to arrive at the planet. This could also solve the problem of many of the current unkillable NPCs. If you dont want the player to kill the heads of corporations, limit communication with them to this method. Why on earth would they let a heavily armed stranger into their boardroom anyway?? .. but IMO the game would be improved if even then, there was some way to hunt them down and deal with them face to face if you put the effort in. * No invisible walls on planets. A simple fix for this that would avoid significant programming would be a "camping" mechanic. When you camp, there is a loading screen that regenerates the procedural map around your current location. You could be pinged with warnings that you need to camp when you near the border, and if you ignore them at some point it triggers the camp action automatically. * Avoid ever repeating locations. Part of the solution would be to have procedural variation of locations. Hopefully modders and DLC can also add a bunch more handcrafted ones. Perhaps there should be a war or something by the time special locations run out, to explain why you stop finding them. You mentioned something about airlocks being slow? They probably use that time for loading assets, ie another form of loading screen. I would make the first door of the airlock lightning fast because those assets are already loaded, then make the second one as fast as possible, with some sort of indicator. Dont force people with fast machines to wait just to preserve the illusion.
A terrormorph home planet that acts like a sci-fi horror like a Riddick movie. Super volcanoes. Mega tsunami. Meteor showers. Asteroids obliterating planets. Black holes. Electromagnetic storms. Faction patrols. Multiple ship crews. Gambling. Racing.
I want functioning heat leeches you have to get rid of and an alien parrot equivalent I can carry around. the most important thing would be a space cell replacing what would have been the world space in older BGS games, so we can actually travel from planet(cell) to planet(cell). not having high hopes for this one thouhh...
How about the ability to color design your own clothing and space suits? And helmets? So many of them could look so cool if we could just change the colorings.
The Crimson Fleet assault helmets are cool, but it would be great to change their color to match other spacesuits... like colormatch an Assault helmet to the Navigator suit.
It would be so cool if you could make a space station. Same way you make an outpost. The moan use would be to detect anomalies in other systems and mine asteroids
I want things that use existing assets and scripts. Access to the existing showers and internal walls for outposts. Access to all the clutter and "stage dressing" assests to put in outposts/ships. Putting existing stairs assets into existing two-storey 1x1 frames for stairs in ships. Companions showing up as blue or green dots on compass like the red dot for enemies. The ability to keep Sona on your ship in the same way Cora is. Getting other robot companions in the way you have Vasco, such as Kaiser or a dog bot. Your land rover being able to fit into a Hope 4 landing bay.
I love your radio idea. I could see a mod where you build a mail/radio combo network. Using the gravity drive to send a capsule that sends a radio signal that gets picked up by a local service that forwards the radio signal it to its recipient. And you can only do this with systems that already have this service currently there. This could should fit in the lore I think. Maybe with a few sec delay for each direction and the gravity drive having to be full to send and in range.
Good ideas. I hope not all modders have deserted SF. I've spent hundreds of hours enjoying the vanilla game. Lord knows how many more hundreds I'd lose with your ideas, and modders creations would be amazing. Heres to hoping 🍻
in Far Cry 6 you can get allies from random encounters that you can send on special missions and get rewards, also there was an App for ME Andromeda that you could send other ships to do battles and get rewards too. about outfits, it would be cool if there was an option so you could appear with the clothing you have under the space suits when you are on a place with breathable air or just in cities and towns.
I wouldn't mind an alien pet as long as it's balanced (not too cute, not too hideous). It could attack/distract NPCs/creatures when your health is low, buying you time to recover or reload. A communicator to call in a strike, or location pick-up might have saved Bethesda a bundle on having to creating that rover.
I have a ship with the ability for 11 crew. It is a captured Wight III that I modified. I play on Xbox X. The additional crew spaces were added with the type of habs I changed out.
@@baxter2908 ya pero no puedes asignar más 8 y Sarah que se diga 9 mala nave aunque tenga yo e llegado tener creo 15 espacios . @@baxter2908 Yes, the ship says max of 11 when you add enough of the right habs and especially weapons. But the max you can actually have is 9 (with sarah) even if the ship says 11.
I would settle for some joystick support right now. Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen have very good examples of great joystick support and from an immersion point of view its amazing.
in all honesty ladders are more useful in low or zero gravity environments. If someone takes out your artificial gravity ladders are a more effective way to move between levels and a ladder uses less space than a stairway
What do you think of the current beta? You can change the amount of credits vendors carry. If you accept less xp vendors has 20.000 more credits I think.
Also the traits is it me or after you get kids stuff you feel like every other trait should have had much more potential and also feel like even if you didn't pick it in the beginning there should be a quest where you should be able to gather it for example a trait that had potential the adoring fan we know it's meant to be a mema but it's obvious that the fan is a star born just by his dialogue just think of the potential there him with his own power set or a special ship that allows him to accompany you in New game Plus
Simply put real simple I think Vasco should be listed as a pet you should also have mods and quest related to the mods or at least allow us to get one of those dog type robots as a pet
I don't think the economy will ever be perfect, in these types of games something will always be exploitable. Having said that, the best to do is to make it realistic imo, just put prices according to rarity and todays prices, wnd let the players tweak it the way they want.
Quantum Entanglement does not work the way people fantasize. An astrophysicist explained it like this. Someone puts each of a pair of slippers in a box and gives one to you and one to your partner. You travel to another country and open the box. You see a left slipper in the box and instantly know, no matter how far away you are from their box, your partner MUST have a right slipper. That's it. There is no transmission of information inherent to quantum entanglement. Just an interdependent singular collapse of a wave function.
Considering Bethesda discussed ideas with nasa , this game should have been way more advanced than the nasa punk look , starborn , more advanced yet fly a ship thats utter crap , conpanions following you through the unity but come into ng+ as normal characters , andreja being va'ruun but more than happy to let you kill her people, so many things don't make sense in this game, Todd Howard is no better than a used car salesman, don't get me wrong. It's the game I've waited a lifetime for , but certainly not the direction it should have went, so far into the future yet not really portraying that as much as they should have. Hopefully dlc's and mods will make this game the game it should definitely have been on release . Typical Bethesda, too many planets , too much procedural generation and still stuck in the past with graphics . Howard needs to stand down and let someone who can see the bigger picture.

Give me the Bethesda GORE. Shooting, throwing a grenade, using melee, all have the same effect, so un-immersive.
A pet cat, dog, etc would be 👌🏻
