My opinion of their delivery (in general): Beyonce is better at low notes below G3, mid belts, head voice up to B5, riffs and runs and versatility Ari is better at high belting/mix above F#5 (she has a very trained mix and has great stamina), using of falsetto, whistle voice and super head voice (she's more comfortable singing up to Eb6 regularly)
that belting section was soooo enjoyable... in most cases, both vocals were flawless. i'm a beyhive till death so obviously beyonce won imo, but ariana is an insane vocalist and i love her vocals and music a lot!

Bey may be more resonant, but Ari's ease is just incredible, for me she has one of the best upper belting ever since she can mix up to B5 (and i think even more) freely and has an amazing stamina. Upper register: for me, it's really hard to decide since their approaches are very different, Bey uses head voice and Ariana falsetto. I prefer Ariana's tone, but i think this will be a more fair comparision when wicked comes out, since Ariana is using her full head voice.

I'm a fan of bee, especially for those vocals, her technical is something to another level, but i must say that i like Ari too and she is becoming better with the years, her mature voice is becoming really the best of her career although she is still really far away to beyonce vocals and technical. But the best is we have two excellents vocalists. And yes The Bee's head voice is something to another level, the majority to the most difficult things she do is there too, because she knows how powerful she is specially in this area.

I love Ariana, and the fact that she's compared to Beyoncé makes me extremely proud. However, Beyoncé's singing is something that Ariana needs to work harder on.
I feel like both of their singing skills and capabilities are on literally on the same level. Wherever the line for insanely incredible vocals lies. If they for some reason, impersonated each other they'd be able to do it flawlessly, like if Ari lost the high pitch fairy fictional girl voice and went more soulful, and if Beyonce became more heartfelt and whimsical. But they both just sing differently and impact their fandoms in how they sound and the way they sing. All so beautiful and really how singers touch their audiences by being different, unique, and creative with it.

I'd say Beyonce won, but only just, Ariana was really close. Bey took the lows, mid belts slightly leaned to bey upper belts leaned to ari, headvoice mid to low was reasonably split, the upper head notes were ari though. Overall, Beyoncé had a slightly better technique, but both these queens did excellently. I also think we should always take a moment to appreciate how good ari's Lows are and how good beys' high notes are. Beyonces voice is fairly low, and aris voice is fairly high, so its really cool to see them do so well in what should be a weaker part of their voice. This video was fun, I really enjoyed it.

I loved the work! It was pretty fair!. For me, Bey win this easy. I mean...... The low notes were just perfect, and did you see the belts Part? Everything up to F#5 was easily Bey's, and what to say about the head voice, everything up to D6 was perfectly Bey's. The extensive vocal range supported of Beyoncé! Ariana is equally great with her ease, her beautiful tone and I was surprised that her low register sounded very beautiful.

Bey certainly has the lows and mid-belts (G#4-B4) down - although both support, Bey has the upper hand of weight and tonality within the lower belts. Ariana has an upper hand in both High Belts and head voice as she is able to belt much higher and support much higher. This is a true vocal battle. Both ladies did an outstanding job. For me personally, the winner is Ariana. What she can do is more impressive to me, and her supported range is much wider than Beyoncé's. But I am not delusional, Beyoncé killed it and I cannot deny that. She's a generational vocalist.
Most of Ari’s head voice notes is falsetto, while Beyoncé’s has true chord closure and connection hence larger resonance and better support which is why she can do seamless transitions from head to chest without any breaks or ‘flips’ her head voice is generally more developed at fundamental level despite Ariana having more natural ease and freedom up there.
They each have their own styles and technique. Beys tone has a richer tone. And she is much more agile than Ari. That said, Ari’s voice is naturally higher and lighter. Her diction has improved a lot since she first came on the scene as an artist. I’d say Bey is the superior vocalist but Ari can sing down too. They both have amazing voices.
despite being different vocal types ariana going as low as she does and beyonce going as high as she can is so impressive. two truly gifted talented vocalists who will go down in history.

I think it's safe to say that most people who aren't biased and have more than two brain cells will know that Beyoncé is the overall a better singer in pretty much every way but I don't think that she's just leagues above Ariana. Ariana held her own with literally no problem and if Beyonce' is a 10 then Ariana is a 9.5 she's directly behind her and if you put them both on stage in a vocal battle Beyoncé which struggle to out sing Ariana and that's saying a lot considering that Beyoncé's voice is on the level of vocal Legends like Whitney Mariah and Celine so the fact that Ariana could even come close should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about her vocal ability.

I love Ariana, and the fact that she's compared to Beyoncé makes me extremely proud. However, Beyoncé's singing is something that Ariana needs to work harder on.

I feel like both of their singing skills and capabilities are on literally on the same level. Wherever the line for insanely incredible vocals lies. If they for some reason, impersonated each other they'd be able to do it flawlessly, like if Ari lost the high pitch fairy fictional girl voice and went more soulful, and if Beyonce became more heartfelt and whimsical. But they both just sing differently and impact their fandoms in how they sound and the way they sing. All so beautiful and really how singers touch their audiences by being different, unique, and creative with it.

She probably has the most range of emotional expression in her singing when we're talking about this century of pop vocalists. It's all over her discography and especially the latest album, Cowboy Carter.

I'd say Beyonce won, but only just, Ariana was really close. Bey took the lows, mid belts slightly leaned to bey upper belts leaned to ari, headvoice mid to low was reasonably split, the upper head notes were ari though. Overall, Beyoncé had a slightly better technique, but both these queens did excellently. I also think we should always take a moment to appreciate how good ari's Lows are and how good beys' high notes are. Beyonces voice is fairly low, and aris voice is fairly high, so its really cool to see them do so well in what should be a weaker part of their voice.

Beyoncé’s is a mezzo and Ariana is a Soprano…I feel it’s weird to make a vocal comparison / vs analysis on singers whose voices will always naturally sit in a different place.

For me, Bey win this easy. I mean...... The low notes were just perfect, and did you see the belts Part? Everything up to F#5 was easily Bey's, and what to say about the head voice, everything up to D6 was perfectly Bey's. The extensive vocal range supported of Beyoncé!
Ariana is equally great with her ease, her beautiful tone and I was surprised that her low register sounded very beautiful.

Tbh Ariana's C5 was better. Very resonant and little to no reverb on the mic too so you can tell it's perfectly natural.

@@LiTim17 It was still very resonant though. And Beyoncé uses a TON of reverb so her notes seem much weightier than they actually are. Plus she just has a weightier, darker voice in general.

Bey certainly has the lows and mid-belts (G#4-B4) down - although both support, Bey has the upper hand of weight and tonality within the lower belts.
Ariana has an upper hand in both High Belts and head voice as she is able to belt much higher and support much higher.
This is a true vocal battle. Both ladies did an outstanding job. For me personally, the winner is Ariana. What she can do is more impressive to me, and her supported range is much wider than Beyoncé's. But I am not delusional, Beyoncé killed it and I cannot deny that. She's a generational vocalist.
Most of Ari’s head voice notes is falsetto, while Beyoncé’s has true chord closure and connection hence larger resonance and better support which is why she can do seamless transitions from head to chest without any breaks or ‘flips’ her head voice is generally more developed at fundamental level despite Ariana having more natural ease and freedom up there.
They each have their own styles and technique. Beys tone has a richer tone. And she is much more agile than Ari. That said, Ari’s voice is naturally higher and lighter. Her diction has improved a lot since she first came on the scene as an artist.
I’d say Bey is the superior vocalist but Ari can sing down too. They both have amazing voices.
For the low notes it's ariana for me cuz as long as I see ariana imperfect for you performance, I'll choose it like it's too good

I think it's safe to say that most people who aren't biased and have more than two brain cells will know that Beyoncé is the overall a better singer in pretty much every way but I don't think that she's just leagues above Ariana. Ariana held her own with literally no problem and if Beyonce' is a 10 then Ariana is a 9.5 she's directly behind her and if you put them both on stage in a vocal battle Beyoncé which struggle to out sing Ariana and that's saying a lot considering that Beyoncé's voice is on the level of vocal Legends like Whitney Mariah
and Celine so the fact that Ariana could even come close should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about her vocal ability.
