Thank you. Appreciate the note recognizing the importance of memorabilia. And it’s powerful ability to trigger memory. Love the note about the cat at the end …happy with a cosy place by the fire ❤️.
Love the calm piano music. Beautiful videos. Thank you for your content, style, and music! Please ignore critics. What you are doing here is just what we need. Thank you. ❤️
Thank you. Your video provides calmness and shows the reward of minimalistic living. I am currently removing years of items that no longer serve me or items that came to me from family. Your videos help keep me inspired. I love the calm colors in your home. And your cat is lovely. ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful video. I’ve recently come to the realization that there are very few items that I need as backups for a “just in case” scenario. I’m at the grocery store almost every day anyway so there’s no need to build an inventory of items.
Though I have lived with less for many decades, Fumio Sasaki's writing has been most impactful to better understand my "why" of this tendency to feel security and peace with minimal possessions. Thank you for this beautifully created video to highlight some of his insightful observations. (And your cat is "simply" precious 😺)
Thank you for sharing this book, Fumio Sasaki's book 'Goodbye, things'. It's hard for me to declutter and let go of some of my things. Watching this video gave me motivation to let go of items that I am having difficulty with letting go. I have donated so many clothing and other belongings of mine. I also shredded bags and bags of papers. I learned that papers also clutter people's homes. As I am decluttering and buying only if I need something, I'm seeing the difference and progress of me having less stuff. It's a great feeling to own less!! I now can organize the belongings I kept. Now I wish my husband was on board with decluttering!! He refuses to donate and shred any of his papers. So our home is cluttered because of his stuff that's just there not being used. Your home looks beautiful!!! Nice to see the snow in the background. Cute cat!! Lovely video, thank you ❤️
Lovely video! I prefer this kind of videos to find the motivation to get up and start doing things at home. A nice reminder that decluttering doesn't have to be a struggle.
As I watched this my wife was sorting through her deceased mums photos. I have read Fumio Sasaki's book and you reiterated some really useful lessons which we discussed. Synchronicity or what. Thank you because it really helped. It got me thinking that maybe materialism doesn't want us to have the tools to say enough is enough. Maybe it does everything to keep us interested. When you see less as intelligent you will have got it because both emotionally, intellectually and financially you will be able chart your own course in life. Stuff doesn't make you happy but you own freedom from it does.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights. Very sorry for your loss. Going through old photos and belongings of a loved one is incredibly tough.
I read his book last year and really enjoyed it. I found The Minimalists in December of 2015 and they changed my life. I don't think I could ever go back to having a house full of stuff and collections.
Such a beautiful and relaxing video with a timely message to start 2024 and follow through the entire year. Here’s to a new year of minimal silent to-do list.
Thank you, I needed this reminder today. What a lovely video. I like how your dining table is set up with the bench on one side; makes it feel so cozy and an inviting place to gather. 🎄😊
You have a beautiful home, thank you for sharing. I feel so calm watching your videos, I subscribed and they sure make me want to just get rid of 50% of everything I have. 😂 Maybe I’ll take one room, take all the “stuff” out and see how it feels…
Love your videos just subscribed! I am too on my way to minimize my belongings and that book sounds amazing! Your kitty is such a great addition to the videos. Thank you.
Haha, thanks! :) Our cat is definitely the boss of the house, so I had to convince her that a clutter-free home is the way to go. She's slowly coming around!
i finnd it hard to declutter i like to see things but i took my Christmas decore down and left me empty spaces that i admire ..ill keep it that way . ❤
Thank you! They are called Swedish Gingerbread cookies, mine were just from a basic recipe online, they contain lots of cinnamon, ginger, ground cloves, and ground cardamom. Makes a lovely scent around the house ❤
Votre chat est vraiment très beau. Il me rappelle notre chatte Fanny quand j'étais enfant. C'était une belle chatte noire et blanche comme votre minou. Je sais que la vidéo date de l'hiver dernier mais j'aime beaucoup votre ancienne maison, elle était très chaleureuse.
Thank you for watching and for your feedback! I'm very happy to get feedback! I understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes to music, I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Have a good day! ✨

I have the smallest pantry and only store the basic things we need in daily life. For a small household like ours, this has worked very well.
That's great to hear! Keeping a small pantry with just the essentials can definitely help create a peaceful and clutter-free home ✨
Love your sweet cat!!
Thank you! She's lovely 😊

Beautiful video but the choice of music is a little depressing..
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! For me it's relaxing, but my friend said the same as you! 😊
@@calmnordicI found it very relaxing. I guess it’s open to interpretation.
The music is calming. I like it
I loved the music! Would like to know what it is, please?
Peaceful visuals but the music is not...needed to mute.
