It is a pity that the Red Mirror (Grey Base) is no longer being provided...

Any details about the Tungsten Mirror (Grey Base) and the Black Mirror (Grey Base) that Wiley X offers on their website?

Does Wiley X intend to put the red mirror in something other than the P-17? It's by far my favorite lens of the lineup but the frames are just to small. I think it would look good in the Valor or Twisted.

What is better? Captivate or Prizm?

I have both and I really like both but I'm giving the nod to Captivate. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Prizm lenses that I have for my FLAK 2.0 which are deep water polarized, road, and road black. They all work great and as intended, that being said they are delicate. I try to really take care of my high end sunglasses because I have to have them. I got LASIK over a year ago and light sensitivity has been a thing for me, it always has been but now it's a bit worse. The reason Captivate gets the nod is for multiple reasons. While Oakley definitely has more tints and frame options than Wiley X, the lenses are better on the Wiley X side of things. The colors pop just at much.. if not more. The other thing is durability. That bayer level 7 isn't a joke. While I do a pretty good job of taking care of my Oakleys, I'm not as nice to my Wiley X. I have a pair of Twisted with captivate blue mirror and a pair of Breach with the captivate platinum flash. I wear the Breach for outside like lawn work, etc. I have gotten hit right in the eye by errant debris and it didn't even phase them. The pair of Twisted, I will admit I'm not particularly nice to. I lost the hard case to that one, It's probably in my car under a seat, and the sinch on the lens bag wore out ... so Most of the time they get thrown on the passenger car seat. Are they scratched? A little... but You have to look for it. I've been stupid nice to my FLAK 2.0 with the deep water lenses and I have scratches that I literally don't know how it happened. With the Prizm you really have to live by Robs motto of "not on your face in the case". The only real downside to Wiley is you may not be able to find exactly what you want in a frame you like. Like with a pair of FLAK 2.0, you can get literally what you want, there is no way you can't. Not as easy with Wiley. I really like the red mirror, they only come in the P-17 which is too small for my face. I have a pair of Wiley X Valor with the black frames and black polarized lenses, they're like the spec ops model... can't get those with Captivate and they are easily my favorite Wiley X frame. I would highly recommend the red lens if you can live with a pair of P-17, that lens is easily the best in the line up. Blue is also great and I really like the platinum flash. The green base actually makes greens pop way more than Tyler lets on in the videos. For being out in nature, that lens is top notch. I just bought my wife a pair of Weekenders for her birthday that are coming in the rose gold with the blush pink frames... and I intend to try them out haha. I also just ordered a pair of Compass with the captivate mirrored bronze. Wiley X, if you are reading this, please... please put captivate red in something else, that lens is to good to just keep in the P-17.
