    Capital review! Eye protection is an absolute necessity for this old man. I shoot quite a bit. Conventional cartridge firearms, caplock rifle and revolvers, and CO2 powered BB (4.5mm) replica weapons (low cost training). And eye protection with the latter two are of great importance. Bounce back projectiles from the CO2 weapons can happen. The caplock weapons are prone to have blowback in the form of cap fragments and gasses.
    The eye protection glasses you reviewed here are very interesting. I'll definitely have a look for them here in the U.S.
    Again, many thanks for your time and evaluation of this technology and product!
    Cheers mate! 🍻

    I actually found the strap inserts were way more comfortable when wearing my Howard Leight Impact Sport ear protection.

      I can see how that would work. Sounds like a good set up

    Be interested in a comparison between these and the Magpul Explorers and the Oakley Ballistic Det Cord. I'm in the market for some ballistic glasses.

      @@moorlandertactical Cheers! I dont think the Magpuls are ANSI rated but I'd be interested in a comparison with the Det Cords as they are and also have interchangeable lenses. Anyway, thanks if you can, but no worries if you cant. 👍

    That was interesting.
    How do prescription lenses work in them?
    Are they easy to put in and stay put,, bearing in mind len sizes vary.
    I would like to put the lens from my old glasses in a frame.
    My lens were £200 so I would like not to have to buy another pair

      Hi there, and thanks for watching. As far as I remember the prescription glasses work as an insert that needs to have lenses added to it. They sit on the nose bridge cushion part. I'm not sure you can wear your actual glasses underneath them. I might be wrong though. I'd definitely recommend checking the Wiley X website to see, however, I'm pretty sure you need to have a second pair of lenses made to the frames that fit within the glasses from Wiley X

    Obv not polarized but how is the glare/UV protection?

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the lens your using. The yellow has the least glare, where as the smoke has the best UV protection. I don't notice the glare when using them so I guess it's good 😊

    I'm about to buy them as an upgrade from my old SwissEye Raptors. I just hope they don't get scratched as easily!

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't had any issues with mine. When ever I've finished for the day I always put them back in to the carry case they come with to make sure they keep as good as long as possible. Luckily if they do get scratched after a while it's easy to replace the glass
