Scottie is so transparent with his criticism. He is trying to elevate himself by putting down MJ. Scottie is more like LeBron (all around player) and MJ is more like Durant (Scorer) so by criticizing Durant and praising LeBron, he is essentially praising himself and putting down MJ.
No, Jordan was an all around player. He was 1st Team All Defense NINE times. The only player to ever accomplish that feat. He also won Defensive Player of the Year in 1988.
@@Kingepticon definitely. Jordan was an incredible defender and was the best offensive and defensive player in the nba for many years. What I meant is that Pippen is more like LeBron in that he’s more of a facilitator offensively. Jordan and Durant are both unstoppable scorers that could win a game by themselves. LeBron and Pippen both need their teammates.
On Kevin Durant: James Harden and Joe Harris shot like 30% from the field during game 7. The way I see it, they're the reason they lost the series. Harden and Harris were trash.
Miller was on point on everything except the Durant in regards to What Pip said. in the article GQ Pip was saying that Durant trying to win the game by himself and was tired because that takes a lot out of you. So Miller and Pip are saying the same thing.
we have back office problems. Especially when you see players who absolutely loved Indiana (ie-Oladipo) who all of a sudden don't want to be here. PG got to the point where he also hated it. Vogel should have been kept here for longer, but Bird had his own idea of how long a coach can be effective. I don't think we will have a great team again until the Pacers are sold and the big shots are replaced.
Maybe they don’t want Leonard on the side line because they need PG13 to feel like he is the King of the team right now, if Leonard was on the side line PG would still feel like number 2, so they need him to feel like number one ☝🏽. So it’s all for PG that Leonard is not on bench. Just my thoughts
First of all-Scottie is doing all of this to promote his new book, "Unguarded." Secondly, In The Last Dance Jordan says several times in different ways how much Scottie meant to his success. He said Scottie was the best teammate to not winning without him. He says, "Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen." The best player of all time is saying this about you and that's not enough? The rest was true and the downside of Pippen. But the positives outweigh the negative. Seems like Scottie is only looking at the negative in all instances.
He led nearly this team to the finals and a championship last year. This season, he had a high ankle sprain and Davis was out. Also, as set up guy sometimes players don’t hit shots. I try not to judge a player and their skill by the last few weeks and instead by their career. Lebron has shown he can lead mid level talent to great things. Even if this year it didn’t happen do to wide variety of factors. Let’s be kind and reasonable
As long as the Bucks keep playing teams with injured stars they are the 96 Bulls. You know they are praying for a Suns injury in the Finals. Go Bucks....The Injury warriors.
Why? Is he there for your approval? Murray was on the floor, why did Denver get swept? AD was on the floor, why did Lakers lose? Ibaka is on the floor? Dudes, STFU. He doesn't need to fit the generic bracket. Have you listened to his teammates and coach what they say about him? What about Ballmer, an 80 billion dude?
Here is where its all wrong. Jackson may or may not be racist. Most likely he is not, we dont know. But to accuse him to make a clutch decision on his team in an important game based on race??? Thats simply RIDICULOUS. That man was as competitive as it gets which you can clearly see on his results. Come ON.
Reggie said Nash didn't call time out because kd was their heavy hitter but that's the same argument pippen made for himself on the last shot...look Scottie was third in MVP votes that year had three chips and lead the bills to like 55 wins with no jordan and you right up a play for a rookie over me and to have me inbounding it....basically pippen understood they intended to keep him as robin no matter how good he actually was....people put so much emphasis into points that we forget that being a good basketball player is more than putting the ball in the bucket....draymond without Steph and play is an avg looking player but Steph and klay dont look like superstars without draymond on the court...i think what Scottie is saying is that Scottie and Mike had a nd and Steph relationship like yeah Mike was the best player but the team was actually mines....☝🙆
whatever. and what happened on this "racist" play? Tony K. made the shot. Jackson was right (as usual) and Scottie comes off looking like a crybaby again.
Why don’t you bring on the director of the last dance and ask him why Scottie is portrayed the way you feel he’s portrayed. You have the contacts it would cut to the chase.
I don’t get the contradictory statements by Reggie. They were gonna roll the dice with Durant because of a hard 3 games but with Scottie on the first day the GOAT retires he’s hyped by the entire organization that’s he’s the man. So he busts his ass from training camp on, he’s the face of the franchise, carrying the load, he’s the man, but during the season the coach and gm think Tony’s the future messiah so instead of “rolling the dice” they give Tony the most important shot. And Scottie is in shock. I can only equate it to something like someone telling Hilary she cannot speak at Bills funeral. He broke down then and there . And then the GOAT relives it for no reason on the First Dance , without any point of view for Scottie from Phil, owning up that he decided to go with the future then and there . People need to have a heart. Sure Scottie is bitter, I am not even a fan of his but all this analysis is crap. He was devastated, simply as that.
LeBron Postseason stats are trash. He's not that guy that would hit the last-second shot like a Micahel Jordan, Reggie Miller, or a Lary Bird. These are facts! I would pick KD over LBJ to take that shot!
I may be wrong, but I don't think Pippin and Jordan are friends. I think Scottie is hurt by this documentary and it severed any ties they had together.
I'm a total Reggie hater, think he is vastly overrated as a player. Very good and that's it. But the media half of his career has been incredible. Always enjoy him on tv and podcasts and such.
Pippens problem now is the same problem he had while playing. He fortunately and unfortunately in some aspects played w the best ever. He never got it gets his due and very few ppl ever say anything good about him. And then Jordan cant leave well enough alone and rescratches the wound w the documentary. Pippen by himself has to take it and if dares say anything Jordan's legion of worshipers lambaste him. Hes in a no win situation. If any of personalized the situation u would feel the same way. Being a part of a great team, being arguably top 5 to 10 in terms of all around basketball ability and ur whole life ur talked about like nothing. And the guy who gets all the credit takes shots. And ur supposed to eat it bc his worshipers dont like it. The racism kukoc thing is pippen going nuts and I cant forgive that but overall I understand his point of view.
Pippen is always a thin-skinned whining person. Rodman had to apologize to him when joining the Bulls. He couldn't get along with Barkley in the same team. Now he accuses Phil Jackson as a racist because he wasn't a designated last shooter in the 1994 playoff game. He and LBJ are alike.
Scottie often was disgruntled, but so was Michael. Greatness in a sense requires a dissatisfaction to fuel a relentless drive for perfection. Bottom line Scottie according to literally every single Bulls player around at that time say he’s the best teammate ever. He just feels left out and mistreated in the Jordan documentary which is what the Last Dance really is. And now he has what in his life? He’s not really a great natural speaker made for TV despite ESPN attempts. So he’s sort of banging around, ruminating like.. an old Bull lol. Great cat when it counted. Let’s drop the Phil racist comments Scottie. That’s too unkind a cut.
That racist Phil Jackson put that damn Ukrainian in for the shot instead of me??? I honestly am feeling bad for Scottie, I understand what Dan is doing, but he just lost his wife and son, and he’s kinda pummeling him right now when he don’t need that shit
That Last Dance Doc or "The Come Praise Me" doc spoke volumes to Pippen, it said you Pippen are just another stepping stone, granted a big stone, but still just a stone in MJ's ego feeding journey for the world to see.
Left out Pip, getting knocked out, ECF. in game 6, 1989, 1 minute into game, and never returning, Bulls eliminated. Then 90, game 7, Pip a migraine. If they were trying to embarrass Pippen, they would’ve shown that. Also showed Pippen, gutting it out with back injury, in game 6, 98 finals, to show, he finally got tougher. It showed the growth of Pippen. But if you’re emotional, and don’t think on the 3rd dimension, you won’t get that.
MJ won 5 MVPs with Pippen on the roster, as well as 9 scoring titles, 1 DPOY, 6 FMVP, 9 defensive 1st teams and all nba 1st teams and 3 steals titles. I’ve been looking for someone else, who won this much shit, with 1 teammate, that believes they’re as good as this person, but I can’t find either.

Without Scottie there is no Jordan". Just because Jordan criticized Scottie holding out in the contract, doesn't mean the documentary was a hit job. The media likes to takes things out of context.
Reggie is very professional!
5:25 Lebron would've kept passing to Joe Harris and James Harden who were missing shots and they would've missed more shots and been blown out, while he'd just excuse himself with "making the right play," and the Lebron-stans would call his teammates trash and blame them.
one of my best players ever " Reggie Miller "
No 3 without Paxson No 3
Without Rodman and Kerr
Pippen, most likely: "To say Larry Bird is racist for talking so much sh*t to black players and acting superior to them.....I got no problem with that."
It was said because Scottie held out on the final championship...in regards to the contract. If Mike and his agent told him not to sign it if I remember correctly from the documentary. Then he did it anyway..🤔🤔🤔🤔
No one had a gun to his head to sign that but he did anyway. No one to blame but himself
@@TL2354 here is the key point, the owner Reisndorf told Scottie not to sign the contract but if he did then there would be no re-nogotiation of the contract until it was up. That's as fair as any man can ask another man to be. Scottie didnt listen and didnt bet on himself, he took the money knowing the exact parameters of the situation. Several people told him of the up tick in revenue coming from new tv deals, that were in part influenced by the huge popularity of the Dream Team in the Olympics. On the contract side, Scottie only has himself to blame.
Portland is really good about collecting injury prone players who have 'potential'. Idk how they are so good at this.
No discussion about Carlisle coming back to the Pacers?
Yea! Good point. Reggie should have some thoughts abt it since he played under Carlisle.
Scottie sounds like every other black person I know who says stuff like that. Everything's racist to them
You don't know any black people hush boy
@@grittywuzhere that's another thing a lot of black folk like to do. Tell others to hush but be the loudest ones themselves

I thought Reggie lived in a Wendy's?
Pippin has always been a discontent type of personality
Best 1 - 2 Punch 🥊 in the game! DP & RM
Shaq and Kobe vs. Mike and Pippin who wins?
The 2004 Detroit Pistons know...lol.
Without KD, they probably would have been swept.
Miller was on point on everything except the Durant in regards to What Pip said. in the article GQ Pip was saying that Durant trying to win the game by himself and was tired because that takes a lot out of you. So Miller and Pip are saying the same thing.
They're definitely not friends...Reggie's not too perceptive
about kawhi- bank on kawhi helping with the 1st and 2nd rounds then have the role players doing the rest. Sorry if this is a bad take
I love the Pacers. But since Reggie left we haven't got close to winning shit.
we have back office problems.
5:00 He didn't do it with the Lakers!
If lbj makes teammates better why are the lakers players trash now?
And people called players like Clarkson, Crowder and Ingram trash while they were playing with lebron and look at them now....
Jordan and Pippen are more like brothers. They may not even like each other. Until the end of time it's Jordan and Pippen, like Batman and Robin.
Michael would remind Scottie that HE was Batman in their duo. lol
The contract was in contrast of why Scottie hated Jerry so it had to be said
Jordan could of built another guy to play the Pippen role.
Why don’t you bring on the director of the last dance and ask him why Scottie is portrayed the way you feel he’s portrayed. You have the contacts it would cut to the chase.
He was portrayed the right way. He quit a playoff game then bitched and moaned about a contract he willingly signed
@@TL2354 thank you
KD is a 7 FOOT MONSTA that can pull up from 30
Scottie Pippen is the alpha male, NO.1 player on any team in any era in history, Just lucky enough/Unlucky enough to play his career with MJ.
Reggie aloysuis Miller jr. The third
Paxson Kerr and kukoc all hit gigantic shots in bulls history damn those white guys and phil that racist.
LeBron has ruined a handful of careers
Dame needs another superstar!!!! Simple
He made the shot Pip damn!
Dan sure is happy he is getting all that publicity.
Pippen is always a thin-skinned whining person. Rodman had to apologize to him when joining the Bulls. He couldn't get along with Barkley in the same team. Now he accuses Phil Jackson as a racist because he wasn't a designated last shooter in the 1994 playoff game. He and LBJ are alike.
the goats literally always have + will be wilt chamberlain + bill russell
Trae is carrying The Hawks
Lol.
Why is Reggie giving me strong Obama vibes
I would Trade CJ ASAP
That Last Dance Doc or "The Come Praise Me" doc spoke volumes to Pippen, it said you Pippen are just another stepping stone, granted a big stone, but still just a stone in MJ's ego feeding journey for the world to see.
Want some tissues Superman? You sound like you’re gonna cry.
