Pollak is PURE GOLD every time he comes on the show. I still crack up thinking about that Jack Nicholson “you wanna know what’s surreal?” story he told last year.

Kevin Pollack is one of those rare types that has stuff happen to him that make great stories and who can then recall and relate those stories anywhere, anytime. If he lived in Victorian times, he'd be known as a world-traveling raconteur, and would be welcome at all the best soirees. Thank goodness he's around today to grace talk shows like Rich Eisen and entertain us endlessly.

There are entertainers, there are comedians and there are actors. Then, there is Kevin Pollack! The man can do it all and is always razor sharp and has stories no one's ever heard. I love Kevin and I would really love for him to have a starring vehicle before he wraps it all up. I left out that he is also an outstanding impressionest!

Can I also say how much I love Rich Eisen, he lets his guests speak and he has the most genuine laugh, half of the fun of Visa interviews are watching Rich eisen's reaction to the guests. In that way he actually reminds me a lot of Johnny Carson, who was also so genuine so genuine, let his guests speak, and had the best sincere laugh

Just remember folks ... if you invite a comedian, or aspiring comedian, to your home, your office, your event ... they are going to file every single thing that happens away for future reference. This is what they do. It might be useful later as a bit. Or even as just a good story. Either way it's something that will make somebody somewhere sometime laugh. And that's the get. Best 31 minutes of my day just spent. Thank you Rich and Kevin. That was delightful.
EDIT: By the way, Mr. Pollak ... thank you for the laughs. Every single damn one of them. Laughter is a wonderful gift and you have given to so many for so long.

Some of us are old enough and lucky enough, to have caught Pollak when he first started appearing on Johnny Carson. If you have a chance, I strongly recommend you find and watch all of those. At that time, the master impressionist we all knew was Rich Little. Kevin Pollak came along, promoting movies like he discussed in this interview. But, no host would interview him, without making him do impressions. Even as his acting resume' got bigger, so many people still considered him a comedian and impressionist, before they considered him an actor. Even with the dramatic roles he had done. He still does so many great impressions, of a lot of actors the younger generations aren't as familiar with. But, I think his impressions make people seek out clips of these actors, like Lemon, Matthau, Brooks, Falk, to see how accurate Kevin's impressions are. Pollak could tour, not doing just a straight, stand-up comedy show. But, a show where he'd tell stories as the great storyteller he is, including all of these great impressions...and we would all flock to see him. He probably wouldn't think that would be much of a show, and that people wouldn't find it that entertaining. But, so many people love watching any Kevin Pollak interviews, primarily for the stories he tells and the impressions that go along with it. It would be his storytelling that would get as many laughs as any stand-up show out there. I'd buy tickets in a heartbeat.
