"Jammed packed lot" LOL - you got like 4 ft clearance on one side and at least 3 ft on the other.
best part is if u match the backup cam to the clip after hes talking with it parked u notice they re-parked it cause it did a shit job

I'm a Ram guy and own a 2018 2500 tradesman and love it!!That being said, the day i need this to park, i'll surrender my CDL. I park a semi in any situation, parallel, 90 degrees, blind spot, you name it... The mirrors are your best friends

Automatic, i believe the standard is only offered on the diesel, mine is a 6.4L Hemi

Should be a standard feature on ALL RAM trucks. Along with their 360 Camera. And on their upcoming TRX "Raptor killer".
I could have got that in there 1 shot. All in how you line up. I should know as i driven nothing but trucks and pulling loads my entire life.

Thats probably the biggest parking spot Ive ever seen, with an insane amount of space around it to get in as well.
I just came to see if it would've been able to squeeze itself into the spots around Stockholm, Sweden which are shorter than and just as wide as the truck itself. I'll assume it cannot and keep moving an inch or so at a time back and forth while listening to parking sensors screaming at me in my 1500 -18

So the auto park feature cant do it on the first try, then what good is it. There was plenty of room for it to do it the first try.
These are super nice inside but there are some great clearance deals on the 2018's. Not sure what I should do,lol. I'm worried about some of this tech if it ever breaks is the truck still drivable without it?

I'm thinking of buying one of these here in Europe (let's face it, how many years now before they outlaw V8's here?). I wonder if this system can cope with European sized parking spots and parallell parking :P Heck my current Navara (Frontier) is considered an enormous vehicle over here!

Accident waiting to happen. Already looked like it was going to back into that vehicle by how close it was on the rear camera. lol
360 view makes it much easier. Only time I would use this is parallel if it was really tight. Otherwise parking is easy

Really neat feature. Not needed and no doubt an extra 3k to already (only rich people can buy it truck). Next time show us what it can really do. The space on each side is not realistic. cut it in half on each side then I might be impressed.

I don’t like park assist; have it on our Ford. I do like that interior; think Ram & F-150 have everybody else beat by a huge margin.
I park semis in reverse but you know shit sometimes I wanna check my phone while my truck parks itself. Fuck it. 🤷🏽♂️

Ford release their first park assist in the Escape 2008 and they have it on their F150 since 2015....
If you can't park a pickup truck then you don't need to drive one.

As nice as this truck is, let's face it...it is WAAAAAAAY to expensive (is this one 60K?) and some of these sensors and computer components are going to need to be replaced one-day and I'm sure they are stupidly priced. Only the very well off amd rich can buy this thing. Trucks are no longer within reach of the middle class. It's a house payment for Christ sakes!!!!!!
Anthony Tobias I couldn’t agree more. I have a 2014 F350. Payments just under 1k. There were time I couldn’t afford an oil change. I got rid of it.
Michael Denave I am driving my first and last brand new vehicle... I don't blame you for getting rid of it. I've had more problems and unresolved issues with this ford focus and it had made me realize that "new" is not always better, and the money we lose in value is ridiculous! Good luck my friend!
Tell me about it. 2016 ram 3500 dually just about the lowest edition and used i got for 45k. Payments $800 a month. Took it to the dealer 1 time for an oil and fuel filter change as it was easy. About had a fucking heart attack when they said $650. Needless to say, i now do my own fuel filters and just get the oil done as i can understand $200. If i didnt require the truck, the damn thing would be gone. My 2005 1500 handles just fine..
725$ are my payments on my 2018 2500 tradesman,about 100$ more than my mortgage.

Hhmmm it's certainly between the Nissan and the Dodge, but not exactly what I'd call centralized, is it? A 360 degree birds-eye view system is much more useful.

If you can’t back a truck into a spot no matter the size you shouldn’t drive a truck. Just like if you can’t change a tire on your vehicle no matter what kind you shouldn’t drive. If you have to have a backup or front cam to park you should park away from everyone else.
