yes I'm really considering this one now. I have a Samsung A51, which has become very slow over the past year (a geek bench test gives me scores less than half of Nothing phone (1) ) so I'm eager to upgrade later this year. I was planning on either the S20 FE or S21 FE, but honestly I tend to care more about physical design than software features so this feels almost tailor made!. I love the flat iPhone 12 esque front, back and sides, and the completely symmetrical bezels are awesome! Plus getting wireless charging at this price point is amazing!

@Marouan Fares Software and Security are not good on Poco. Everyone knows they come with delay and sometime they can decrease the experience. More another Samsung and not a Nothing Phone because i don't know well about Support Policy and Store even if i like the phone.

Like you, I prefer and miss the days of 5 ~ 5.5" phones, and you, sir, have shattered my hopes that this would be tiny. Damn you Carl Pei.
I've been suffering with the Pixel 6 and eventually got myself an S22 that I simply cleaned up (OS-wise... since I despise Samsungs OneUI) and while I miss some aspects of the Pixel, the size of the S22 is just about as big as I am comfortable handling. There just aren't enough options and there is absolutely no chance I end up switching over to iOS for their "mini" lineup.
So, once again, thank you for being the beacon, the one reviewer I can trust to have similar interests to my own.

I'm looking at the Nothing Phone 1, it seems to have pretty much everything I want; wireless charging, good enough cameras, good enough performance, clean software, good looking design, etc.

While I never expecting this phone to have a headphone jack anyway (as they're still selling that overrated TWS), the lack of an expandable storage made this phone feels overpriced especially compared to others with the same price range & having one (A73 5G) or cheaper one (Mi11 Lite 5G NE). Or even not having one but cost much less & also has the same pure Android experience (Moto Edge 30).

Nothing have released a shit ton of updates apparently and the camera tech has apparently improved. Could you maybe re-visit and do a update as I love how detailed your reviews are! Was going to buy a iPhone until I seen Nothing offering somewhat similar for less - only downside is, it can not film in 4k@60fps :(

I always enjoy your takes! Unfortunately, it won't be available over here across the pond in The Colonies. LOL At least, not until Nothing lays out some $$ to get some carrier love as it were. It'll be interesting to see how the 6A does. I hear it has the same cameras as the 5 series. That, coupled with Google's software ought to make for some decent shots. You're daughter is, as we say in Wisconsin, a HOOT! Thanks again.

Seems from a few reviews i've seen that that the 6A has a huge problem in having terrible battery life.
One reviewer hasn't had a full days use out of the 6A in the time he's had the phone, and seeing as it's one of the slowest charging phones on the market (18w) it's a pretty big problem.

If you want to be faithful to the origin of the word, which is from Italian and the Italian word itself is from Arabic, meaning hot desert wind, you should pronounce it: 'ghibli'. (I do speak Italian BTW)
The rule is if there's an H after G, it is always pronounced as [g] as in 'goat'.
But if you want to actually say what the company/studio calls itself, you should know that they register as 株式会社スタジオジブリ (Kabushiki-gaisha Sutajio Jiburi), which is 'jiburi'.
Mostly because the Japanese mispronounced it, however due to the studio's popularity around the world, it is more common to hear 'jiburi' rather than 'ghibli' outside the Italian and Arabs world.
TL;DR: the Italian word and its Arabic counterpart is 'ghibli', the Japanese animation studio is 'jiburi'.
