i like better the ado air carbon but as you have used both. Whichone do you recommend more for steep climbs and wander around malaga city center?? thanks. Which of the 2 do you recommend more the air pro 20 or the air carbon??
Great video! Super helpful. I’m thinking of getting this bike and am wondering if it’s suitable for commuting to work, which is an average of 75 miles a week. Would you say this is suitable for that?
Just saw your video on the telly YT app and hit watch. Looks like a good bike mate but what about those mid-drive ebikes are there none that are foldable?
For €1699 pre sale price is a bit expensive but you do get a decent bike with torque sensor, belt drive, dual gear motor ( I wonder how durable are these long term) and front suspension. Makes you consider it
@@Tjewy The price for the regular ohne dropped even to 1k since then but I changed my mind and will Go for pro (current price 1699 euros). I‘m would love to see a better price in few months or so.
The range on the previous model was not great for me and i only weigh around 63 kg. On the 1st assist level i got around 40km and they claimed also to be 100 km.
Never had any 20-inch eBike get anything close to 100km it's impossible with a 10Ah battery and my weight. But some with toque sensors and if ridden on the flat with the lower power levels can do 60-70km.
ADO should make a front motor, right-hinged folding bike with battery in seat post, geared rear hub/belt drive, hydraulic disc brakes. Seems to be the single combination the manufacturers are avoiding for some reason. Incorporate a lock into the frame somewhere and will sell like hot cakes.
The bike is still heavy despite being foldable. It's no Brompton. Anyone know how to change to Sport mode without having to go through the process of unlocking the second menu. Surely they should implement a shortcut using the physical press buttons
In terms of safety, hub dynamos should be mandatory for all bikes, including e-bikes, so that the headlight and stoplight don't depend on a draining and dying battery.
It would be good I agree. But they don't do to keep the weight and probably the costs down. Besides those lights wouldn't use much power on an ebike that's really the motor that is using all of the power.
Has anyone used a child seat on one of these? I really like it, we're looking for something compact for our VW camper, but we have a 3 year old, we'd like to ride around with.
Hi, looking at purchasing an Ado Air 20 or Pro model is the Pro model really much better than the standard as I see you tested both models. I do some hills, Thanks
Very if you say anything bad about their phones they cut you off. I was one of their first reviewers from the beginning but oh well. And the new phones are good.
I know 350w is not legal in Europe but how would anyone know? I don't think the police have time to be checking every bike they see ride past, especially if they're not doing a mad speed.
Well of course it has a low power 250W limit and belt drive it's not meant for hills. Anyway can see that with this style of bike I say it in the video. Yes they paid me $29,000 and a Tesla Model S Plaid arrived at my house the day after this video was published.

Thanks for watching. Yes there are a few middrive foldables but they are rare and expensive.
Best E Bike Reviews out there... I was waiting for this one, thank you.

It does and it's a brand motor Bafang where as others use non branded motors often.
1449 on sale. 1099 for the non-pro version. Compared to non-pro, the upgrade is in the second gear, rear left, right lights, and the suspension.
Can it be wheeled along when folded?
I‘m considering to buying it, since the price dropped to 1k euros + bag + extra gears for around 1,2k euros seems to be a good deal.
The pro version? or the regular one.

@@Techtablets The problem is they market it like that and the fact that it is so far off for me is just false advertisement
Much like electric cars with claimed ranges of 450km but really it's 300kms.

Great content keep it up as always Chris Sir
Thanks, will do! And thanks for the comment which is rare now fewer comments each time.
Nice review, the bike only needs more electric power to be a "perfect" bike for my need.
Fair enough!
Very helpful review. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Which between this and the A20 did you feel was easier going up the hill?

Nice bike, and beautiful sorrundings, where in spain are you?
Denia, med coast. Thanks for watching!!!
amazing progress on ebikes. this checks all the checkboxes for me and of course that is for a price.
I'll have another very similar ebike also coming on the channel. And the ADO Carbon foldable ebike so plenty more to come!
Can you remove the rack and leave the rear mudguard on?

If you should chose this ado air pro or the new PNY Libon, what would you go for @Techtablets
Carbon frame? is it safe? shockproof?
The Carbon model which I'm testing now is the carbon frame model. My video in about 2 weeks.
Does have anyone tested this bike using 80% + only throttle ? how many km can perform?
which are the real disadvantages that i may face in real time ?

How water proof is this under rain?

Tighten the Handle little bit ,
Ah I did it's like that.

pro has two gears, the normal one just 1 fixed gear.
Have you tried riding it while raining?
Yea it's fine tires were okay but I got very wet
Why is it not available in my asia?
You have the seat too low for your leg length which will cause knee strain over time
It was as I didn't have the quick release tight enough so it dropped in some of the footage.
i though you were from Australia or NZ
I'm from Auckland NZ!
He is an Aussie. No kidding Chris is a Kiwi 😂

Pricey one
It is a little yes, but a have a 1000 euro 20" torque sensor one coming soon that is a lot cheaper. Thanks for watching!
That is what I need when can we see it? @@Techtablets
I'd love to have one of these but I can't justify spending that much money. 😔
Chris, do you plan on reviewing the Realme GT Neo 6 SE?
I'll be reviewing a cheaper one very soon. Realme blacklisted & banned me for my "Not so favorable" GT3 review. I have no plans to buy it sorry.

This ebike is crap, try climbing a hill it's poor power. No doubt this is a paid review
