If I had a past life, I know that I was alive in this era, every part of my body moves to the sounds of rag time piano music playing. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤
This music is so fantastic and i thank you from my heart for this two hours of pleasure for ears and body! The only thing i would like to tell you: give 4 or 5 seconds of silence between the pieces, it would be a pleasure even more! Do you agree? That would be fine, thank you in advance!
Any chance you could list names of each tune in order they are Played? And if it's not to much the pianist/composer's name. Thanks for this video, I'm a "barrelhoues/boogie blues piano pounder myself !
(1) THANK YOU for not attempting to colorize these photos. That nefarious practice has insidiously crept into our era via an ignorant generation, and I’m grateful you didn’t succumb to it, either in photo choice or photo editing. (2) Nevertheless, as others have asked in the comments: who are we listening to? Could you credit the performer, please, whether a human or player piano?

I fell in love my first boyfriend in 1960 at 9 because he could play ragtime music that I had never heard that always made me 😁 Thank you because life without music is too hard.
At 27 in 1978 to a British Lloyd’s of London broker that was a guy a girlfriend was dating and he asked me out then asked me to marry him 30 days later that I did but English upper class males from private schools are raised is acceptable to have a mistress and the wives marry for money of which I was different and the moment I discovered his adultery I told him to leave since he also had a sexual issue unable to receive instructions that every woman is different that he couldn’t accept. Lasted two years because money doesn’t make for happiness ever. Two men couldn’t marry me because both couldn’t handle thought of a woman having the power in a relationship because both raised that men have all the power and control. Second husband was 13 years younger but destroyed his life by addiction to drugs that changed his brain and behavior. I love all music except “rap”. Feed the birds for peace of mind.
Why isn't there acknowledment of the pianist(s)? That shows the guy who edited it must be a non-musician. When artist paints a nice picture people ask who the artist is, same w/ musicians.
🥰🥰🥰🥰 I used to play that music in a little jazz band when I was in my 20. Now I’m an old lady of 84 and still love it. I feel that I’m still in my 20
That's so wonderful! ❤❤❤ Hugs and kisses. I love this music! My grandparents were born during this time.
I imagine that with such a music people around you have a nice life
Melody, you are so good! I wish i would have heard you playing the piano!

So nice Jackie: "Every part of my body moves to the sounds of ragtime piano playing music." It's the same to me! Thank you for this wonderful music ❤
Same, if I had a past life it was from this era because every part of my body moves to ragtime just like you said.
Me too, I like very much this caind of music !

the wife when she overcooks dinner
@@dachuckinator8953 Blimey, You're right!
This beat is so nostalgic.
Other than the intermittent, and unnecessary, added bass, thoroughly enjoyable.
I grew up with a player piano and Boogie Woogie in honky tonk was the sound
Thank you so much! The photos add a lot!
I feel almost Main Street u s a Disneyland ^^ I love it
Love this! Found you from the Life in the 1800’s Rumble channel. Any chance this channel will run over there too?
Thank you, and yes that's a good idea about Rumble I'll look into it.
This is quite lovely! Who is playing?
Una delicia de música, gracias por publicarla
"Chicago Blues" sounds like straight-up Boogie/Boogie-Woogie. What year is that one from (when was it written, if not recorded)?
Great Collection, but I have to point out that the piece marked as the "Hampton Blues" is more frequently known as the "Saint Louis Blues." 🙂
I think the song at 1:19 is St. Louis Blues, not Hampton Blues (?)
how can i find "old Kentucky" 35:29 every time i look it up it shows "old Kentucky home"?
Yeah ragtime is the foundation for the USA in my opinion
I want to get sheet music... how can I find it?

The chapters state the names, and they are in the description too.

The performer is not credited?
Is #6 really called “Dinner Time” I can’t find it
I love this one too. Shazam say it's from Luke Davis, but I found no more...
what's the full name and composer of the first one, please?
Four aces by Abe Losch
@@DrummerJacob I don't think number one is Four Aces. It must be some other title.
More better. ....
#2 is Dallas Blues. NOT Railroad Blues! 😡
And #8 is not "Time for Two", it's "Birth Of The Blues"!
Yea. You're right. But I stopped listening after whoever got the second song wrong. 🤨😡@@aralx3

@kp6215 Haha, that was a brilliant, thoughtful and enlightening reply. Much appreciated. And on the music side. I hear you. For sure!
I used this as background music in a DnD game - party walks into a tavern to meet a guy.
Thank you .....2 thumbs up....

Please tell me the name of the first sounding blues.

The little rascals were the era’s movie shorts, in fact the Three Stooges were a Vaudeville act with Shemp (before Curly)
