Stihl MS290 straight piped! Sawing Birch!

I built a custom exhaust pipe for my stihl ms290 farm boss to get a little more torque in the cut.

Best thing about those saws is how cheap and readily available the parts are. Theyre pretty easy to work on too. Id forgotten about my ms310 and itd been sittin for 3 years with old fuel in it. Replaced the carb,fuel line,spark plug,and fuel filter for just over $60 and now its ready for 15 more years. I muffler modded mine 12 years ago and retuned the carburetor a little richer and it screams with a 20" bar and chain

These saws work and just keep on working. I got this one for free from a big company that threw it away because it leaked gas.
