I had a klipsch rp-504c, then got the monolith 365c. I noticed immediately a improved clarity once I fired up the 365c. Voices also sounded way more natural. The difference is output is noticeable with just my AVR, once I hooked up a external amp, the output way much better. Without a external amp, the speaker sounded a little thin. A external amp fixes this, overall I fell the 365c is a better speaker then the 504c

Hi Joe, If the couple of hundred dollars isn't a concern, SVS ultra center has more clarity. Monolith has a little more punch but I think you may have a subwoofer or two to take care of that.
I just looked up the price and I recommend buying the Thx 365c from target. It's $474 now but I saw this for $348 couple months back. At $348 buy this. At $299 Svs outlet price buy Prime Center. If budget is not a concern get SVS Ultra Center - you won't regret.
1) Richer and fuller sound 2) I did not have to grab the remote in between to adjust too low or too loud as the audio was consistent 3) Music especially from sources that do not have 5.1 was just great (example the beats from "shape of you". But Monolith is still a winner for me because it's not much far behind for $350 less. Basically Monolith is more value for money but if you want the absolute best no compromise audio, Svs Ultra is the Champion.

Svs ultra center is better sounding but if you already have Monolith 365 C I don't think it's worth upgrading. It's slight improvement but not noticeable to most people. If you have someone to give your 365C, or use in another room then yes SVS Ultra is a great option.

That Yamaha Subwoofer was on sale for $90 for a month. Also just 100W power. Your receiver deserves a better subwoofer. Whats your budget range? Also is primary viewing movies or music or both? @@starazure I do watch movies and listen music as well .As I said I have ordered svs ultra eagerly waiting for it. I wish to get tight bass.But this Yamaha sub doesn’t perform as much as my expectations.Dont know any settings make it better.My budget is around 400$.Also I am expecting the ultra will have more punch and bass than monolith.For me the monolith is far better than svs prime.Absolutely my personal opinion.Also please advise how can I get loud and bass on dialogues while listening . Thank you

I know by now not to judge until one has tried it for oneself but saying that, I'm fairly confident as far as sibilance is concerned my sonus Faber centre channel kicks ass.

Monoprice sound is better than prime center but not as good as Ultra Center. I will see if I can make another video including it.

Don’t like soft domes but this speaker should still be great for anyone that wants a great 3 way center

Speaker dimensions at 4:52 and Ohms mentioned at 3:49. It's 4 Ohms so needs a good powerful receiver.

Agreed but this loudness is with deep immersive sound. For the price its decent. I like SVS prime center slightly better but this is good too.
I have this center channel and i wont sell it.
You did the right thing. It's one of the best if not the best under $450.
