A tech I've been enjoying in the ramps with wave is also black widow. Being able to widow into wave into Odin on the same lane can be a real powerful play as well
I've been snapping whenever I have Electro and Sandman in my hand after seeing the second location. It's done me pretty well. I think the thing I like about this deck is the win conditions are obvious, a lot of other decks I'm hesitant to snap early which leads to a lot of 1 cubes wins which just get wiped out whenever you take a heavy loss
I played a bit of this deck toward the end of the season. If you're facing Shuri, you'll probably have priority into turn 6 most of the time. A play that often wins the game is to big brain move their Cosmo with Magneto into the incoming Taskmaster lane. Harder to do if they're going for the turn 6 She-Hulk + Taskmaster combo, but if you got down sandman or they played a T5 Red Skull, you probably can guess where Taskmaster is going. Cosmo moving to shut down Taskmaster is nearly always a win since that deck is so dependent on a huge turn 6.
I wouldn't mind seeing a little gameplay with these deck breakdowns, feel like it'd be a good way to illustrate the minutiae of what you run into and the less obvious pros/cons. Love the different deck examples though.
Could you please do a deep dive into Titania? She has some of the most untapped potential, mostly because misplaying her can be embarrassing. I've recently had a lot of success disrupting bounce with her, but I'm not incredibly confident with her. By the way I hit infinite last night for the first time, then continued up to 116! I have been trying to get above vibranium since before the zabu season, and your videos have been a huge part of this, so thanks EC ❤
Kinda embarrassing, but I had shuri pinned and the second I bought her I went from 62 to rank 115 in under 48 hours. I don't even have redskull. I'm at CL 1900 so I'm not series 3 complete but it didn't matter. I ran zero, titania, zabu, armor, scarlet witch, typhoid Mary, Wong, attuma, shuri, taskmaster, vision, and she hulk. I got 500+ cubes in under two days. Probably too strong of a card 😅
Deck #4 is my personal favorite, with Ebony Maw, Psylocke and Klaw. Playing Ebony Maw makes so much sense with Psylocke coz they can both fit in turn 3. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve cursed drawing Ebony Maw on 3 but I’ve had to play Eectro instead and leave the Maw as a dead card. One word of warning though, this decks power ceiling is below that of Shuri. If you’re seeing lots of Shuri, this may not be a great deck. It’s winnable of course, but a lot depends on your early game draw and hitting Aero on the right target. One advantage though, is that this deck can be confused with Galactus, which forces some sub optimal plays by the opponent. So pretend to play like you’re Galactus until you have to give up the game when you drop Sandman.
smart to put this out ahead of the Hit Monkey season, Sandman Ramp will be anti-meta against people trying to make bounce work with their shiny new card
First time making it to infinite this season, and it was thanks to Sandman Electro Ramp! Focused a bit more on the control aspect (played Iceman and Lizard over Jubilee and Devil Dino). Most fun I've had in a deck so far!
I tried as well with Iceman/Lizard to get priority early, but I know don't how you dealt with so many Shuris. I actually dropped almost twenty cubes :/
@rafalas01 Shuri is by far the decks' worst matchup, but if you have the Aero Odin line, you can sneak a win from them. If you don't, retreat as they can just put too much power on the board.
Just got Infinite with this deck. Never feel better when move Red Skull and then Taskmaster to Bar of Nowhere with Earo and Odin (they can only play 1 card each turn cause my Sandman).
was just nearly beat in conquest by a similar deck and i'm playing one of the best 3 high evo decks, so i might have to try a list like this out! i have a nearly complete pool 3 and only recently unlocked The Doctor in the flesh so i haven't had much chance to mess around with his synergies
Honestly I'm a bit surprised he didn't cover the decks best combos under the "powerful plays" section, i.e. : Black Widow > Wave > Odin = causes your opponent to either miss 3 draws, or 2 & a turn Wave > Zola > Odin Provides you a poor man's sandman effect, by causing your opponent to have to play 1 card per turn from 4 on, while your abusing Arnim to get multiple cards into multiple lanes on the same turns... (Those lines require you to play said cards into the same empty lane each turn)
2/2 continued: Electro > Black Panther > Zola > Odin OR Wong > Black Panther > Zola Leaving you with two, 64 power black planters in 2 different lanes (unless you get the "bad" order using the wong version & they only end up being 32 power each, which obviously is still usually more than enough to win most games) Devil Dino > Zola I generally snap when I have almost any of these convos against almost most decks...
Infinite ladder has to be the most shit experience ever in history. I played for around 3 hrs on and off and 90% of my games were “wolverine, electro, galactus” and then they end with death and she hulk or knull. Before galactus was mid bc it was easy to stop but now they ramp it out turn 4 and don’t play until 6 so it’s pretty fucking annoying to play against bc you can’t shang chi bc you have priority the rest of the game and their end board is around 30 power consistently and keep in mind you’ll have priority so they can also just shang chi you if your board is big enough. I played like 7 different decks and basically the only ones that beat it or came close were shuri and darkhawk. It’s prob not a problem outside of infinite but for the upper echelons of the game it’s pretty shit to play against bots and the same 2 decks.

I hate that challenge. I use Hazmat to get all three lanes. Wong>Hazmat/Luke Cage>Odin. Or get Luke out earlier and throw Scorpion down with Hazmat.

There is also Carnage to eat Electro or something to destroy it, Enchantress to remove the ongoing restriction.
Electro-> Black panther in empty lane -> zola on panther-> Odin on Zola puts out crazy power but again is super telegraphed.
That Doc Oct into Heimdal is SNEAKY. I’ve never thought about that. I love throwing heimdal in decks because he’s tricky. I’ve got to try this one.

I like the idea that doom allows you to spread despite the limitation of playing one per turn. You are kind of playing three.
