these are perfect! im looking to build another log cabin. i used to live outside of Libby Montana, between Libby and Troy! Couldnt get much closer to heaven than that area.
Nice little floor plan. I love the bedroom nook. I could easily live in this one. Not much storage space, however, for living full time. Only drawback I see.
When I was younger we had a log cabin home on the lake that we went to every summer. It wasn't much bigger than this but it had two bedrooms with no ceiling over them. It was the coziest place I have ever been in my life!
This is absolutely gorgeous. Love the design. Great for a bed and breakfast. This would be a perfect-sized home for retirees that are not home much. Easy to clean and maintain. Love the smell of wood too.
Quite nice. We could easily live in one especially with what appears to be a cellar underneath. But we'll need the second one as well just for our hobbies.
The time that it took you to write that comment, was longer than the time it would've taken to get yourself to their website. Materials and labor costs are ever changing especially these days, that's why they don't post prices generally, it's hard to honor prices when the costs to build continually rise.
The time since you posted that question, prices for every product and service has fluctuated wildly. No builder would ever post prices, market is too volatile
Inside starts at 4:35. Too much outside. I think this could almost be classified as a bachelor cabin equivalent to a bachelor apartment made of logs. Two rooms. Bathroom and everything else.
Outside is where most of the beauty is. That's what his company does, build log cabins and log homes. He's showing off their work and clearly states this is the part we did as they didn't do the drywall or the flooring or a lot of the interior finishing work. Beautiful logs and beautiful craftsmanship. Like George said, this particular model is a hunting cabin. Or a 1-2 person tiny home etc. You can use it for campgrounds, and many other small cabin things. Look at their website and other videos. Beautiful work. Log homes!
I wonder what the price ranges are to buy the various levels of one of these?? Just out of interest as they all look amazing & I’m across the pond in England 🏴. I know over here they would be a small fortune.
It's an open bedroom. These are small bed and breakfast type cabins or a hunting cabin, nearly bare minimum. Living and bedroom all in the same space. Tiny living. Etc.
It needs a bedroom. Separate. Plus I dont think it should be right next to another cabin. That's the whole idea about the outdoors. You can see the people next to you. Otherwise the workmanship is great.
I think if you would have put the tub at the end of the bathroom you coyld have made a hallways ajd door right by the refrigerator and then had a private bedroom by adding just a wall....which would also give you more wall space,
This would be great for me! I am looking to buy a home and I am disabled and live alone so all of the space would be my own. :-) I would only need a ramp added.
the cost for the "wood only" is $16k... add in roofing, electricity, plumbing, a foundation... windows, doors, finishing and labor?? Probably around $75k+
I took my daughter to Australia a few years ago to visit Grandpa Michael who we have adopted in our community. Right now we are building his log home here on our property in the community of Eagle Valley near Libby Montana, which we called the Outback Lodge. I will have a video of that soon, and a new page for it on our website.
Dennis Dickson .. There website has this listed at $15,033 for the basic pridrilled package. They mention to multiple that number by 6 for a completion price
How much for a single level ranch style cabin with 2 woodstove 1 in l.r. ,1 in m.br. total Sq ft 980 ? I am a disabled f.f paramedic so no tubs walk in showers covered porch in n.w. Georgia area?
There seems to be no fireplace, no heating or cooling unit, & hardly any room to move once furnished; but who knows? It may be perfect for someone out there. It is cute, still the video doesn’t seem to allow for a real view of the details in any one place; so that makes me weary of it’s construction. Someone who builds well, wants to show off it’s craftsmanship, in my opinion. & I can not speak for their build regardless, cause there’s not much we got to see, but in what I saw; I did see some cracked, split wood. Is that normal for any wood building? I would expect that if I was cutting & building my own cabin out in the middle of nowhere; but truly I don’t know if that’s normal, as some of the other log cabins videos also just run you through mostly with just photos, not even a walk thru. So THANK YOU for letting us see it on real time. 😅 I do love the look! 💞👍🏼💕
A loft is difficult for any cabin under about 22 feet wide because it’s difficult if not impossible for us to get a stairway in there that will meet the code. That is why you only find single levels on our website unless they are wider models. We can’t legally build a ladder because it does not meet code and is not a very good way to get to the loft.
The video was fine to show plenty outside footage. Nothing wrong with that. Considering most people that would be staying in this bed and breakfast are going to be spending time out side anyway. There really isn't any need for a bed and breakfast to have a washer and dryer.
If you go to the link below the video, it will take you to the website which lists the price for the log package. And you can also fill out the online form and send the request to the staff who will get back to you with more information and prices.
I would love to own a log cabin just like this one. Thank you so much for sharing
no fireplace it needs a wood stove .That is what cabins need and a tea kettle on top whistling .I love the cabinets
This is a rental, so wood stoves are not as commonly used in rentals.
Those are beautiful. Definitely something I would invest in.
I want a fireplace! 😲
a bedroom and a fireplace and/or wood stove and this joint is money!
I love it! Was disappointed that there is not a fireplace or wood burner. Thanks for the tour.
As usual, beautiful Amish work! Excellent.
Beautiful cabin, thanks for showing

Beautiful home.
Holy crap these are awesome cabins. 🍁

Very nice.
Those back windows are the perfect height for Bigfoot to peek in on a cold winter night
well yeah!
Lovely! Would like it with a loft & dormer.
beautiful work
This is gorgeous. Would love this. Very good construction.
Nice work
How much and are they for sale, if so where located?
That is gorgeous!!!!😍
You should put a price on everything you show love the cabin
i could not agree more, all these log home videos, kits etc they never mention prices, the same with rv dealerships, can not get the prices on anything.
@@petersuskawicz8900 They have prices on their website !

From one Little Country Cabin to another, eh, what’d ya know?! The i-r-o-n-y, lol.
Very beautiful, but a bedroom and a private stone patio with access by slider doors would be sweet!
24x36 would be perfect! Looks great though!

It's a hunting cabin. No luxuries.

I like the small cabins.stain looks good.brown is a good color for stain on the outside of cabin.
Beautiful video of details we like to know. Quality cabins for sure. Good for elderly to enjoy one level living!👍
Love these cabins.
The perfect size home imo. Very cosy.
What beautiful work you do. Love these homes.
crafted beautifully
Wish I had something like this in Wasaga Beach🥰
gorgeous😍
Love it... but where is the fireplace hmm and cost?
No fireplace in this one. You can follow the links below the video for our website and prices.
those cabins are so neat I like them

love it,
Needs to be about 12 feet longer to build a bed room.
Or a steeper roof pitch to put a bedroom in a loft.
It's an open bedroom. These are small bed and breakfast type cabins or a hunting cabin, nearly bare minimum. Living and bedroom all in the same space. Tiny living. Etc.
@@TTundragrizzly yes a loft would be best in this situation.
Beautiful! I would love this!
Lotta cracks in the steps and other wood. How long will that last, before repairs are needed.? Overall look very nice.
All logs will crack and check. The home will last for hundreds of years the steps might last for 20 years and need to be replaced.
Wow, these are spectacular!!!
This would be great for my mom.
Great work as usual..
Do you make them with wood multi framed windows?
Thats fabulous
Very nice I wonder how much each one cost

Needs a 2 bedroom loft. How much as is? Without land
What is the price as shown..????
Thank you
Barn door for bathroom. Ooh la la!💖
No bedroom? That's a deal killer! Living room bedroom combined. Looks real nice though!
Did you not watch ALL of the video stupid ??
Beautiful!!!!!!! I love it
I agree..need pricing! Do you ship out of state?
Yes. You can send an email request through the secure contact form in our website.
I love these!
This is absolutely Beautiful. Can I have a copy of the plan please
Can you get this same cabin in square logs instead of round logs
Yes we can build with SQUARE Logs.
Nice
Thanks
I've seen a few of your videos and you are a master craftsman .. would love to have one of your cabins

One of my favorite things to do is re-configure the interior layouts of each home in my head. The possibilities of change are almost endless.
Nice
Is there any, welding, included to finish one yourself?
Can these be built over a basement
This would be great for me! I am looking to buy a home and I am disabled and live alone so all of the space would be my own. :-) I would only need a ramp added.
What is the wall height of the cabin? From the first log to the last one
What is the cost of the Montana log cabin ?

reefwiz99 lol you can have fully decked pole barns bigger than this for less that that.
Build the cabin yourself and it’s super cheap

I agree, would like to have a fireplace.
How many bedrooms are these I need at least a 3 bedroom Living Room kitchen bath 2 bathrooms
There are NO bedrooms. Did you bother to read the dimensions?
How much does it cost as constructed? I have heard, triple the log package cost for the finished product. Customers need to know this.

@@tomj8337 sounds too high. $90k for 440sf... $200/sf is way high.
@@reefwiz99 .. Don't know what to tell you. I only repeated what was on the company's website.
Looks nice from a distance, but much of the wood is split: some of the steps and the porch support
I want one
Where's the furnace?
There are 2 electric wall heaters.
What about a glass door wood stove,or a stone fire place! A cabin is'nt a cabin without either one of those!
How about a stove/oven?
BEAUTIFUL
How much does it cost
simply lovely
how much does it cost built and not built as kit? thanks
You can click the link to contact the Meadowlark Log Homes staff to answer those questions but also on most of the website, the prices are listed.

Hi It’s beautiful how much is it.
Wow! Nice I would like to own this log home. So cute. Did you mentioned the owner renting this place ?
Yes, they have an Airbnb with these cabins.
How much ?if you deliver and you get it ready?
You can contact the office at Meadowlark Log Homes and the staff can get you estimates for all of your pricing needs for the cabin.
Yes, this is Craftsmanship!
How much do they cost?
no back or side doors?
What kind of insulation do you use?
How much is one like that?
How much did it cost to build this. , can I build it myself
A loft and a wood burning stove would make this perfect

Winifred Coffefe outside on the ropes
The washer/dryer hookup is outside at the crik, rock is 299.99 with opptional cotton line dryer, an additional 39.99, just hang it and forget it!

My question is with out outside wall insulation how do you retain heat?
The logs themself do the insulating.
Love it 😂
what were the 2 vents for?
