What about CB proccs? They are dependent on enemies health not on weapon dps and thus proccs and dmg increases with attacks per second. Might be a bit lower effect than in vanilla since CB is a bit nerfed but still an effect?
Thought the main purpose for the faster base was to apply crushing blow more frequently for bosses/champions etc as that greatly increases the overall DPS. Killing regular mobs, it really isnt noticed. With PD2 you can cover the extra strength req for some of the bases easier than LOD/D2R but that is something I also look at as CV has a high strength req so trying to run it on a lvl 75-80 merc can sometimes be troubling. All in all, your merc is a meat shield who adds the conviction aura. If your merc is dying you need to kill faster IMO. Any base with some form of life leech is good enough
@@bluirmemory4053 so we still ignore the DPS that was done on those first couple initial hits? less important with a sorc as most usually hit them with static a few times to start too, which reverts back to the, doesnt really matter which base. just was pointing out the ignored damage of CB from the table, which obviously cant really be applied. I would probably just refer to the table on the left to see if my other gear greatly changes the #of attacks as 50 damage a sec means virtually nothing if your dealing 10k+ damage yourself
Yea but jab vs critical strike plus double damage Mancatcher is the best base for Sorc act 2 merc. Your looking at base damage only which isnt really that important. Also as for the ias/ed jewels if you hit a lower ias bp with less ias the IAS can be converted to min/max damage with a higher attack speed.
Merc jabs between 80 and 85% of the time, my DPS calculations deal with Jab since its the overwhelming majority of their damage. I'm not looking at base damage, I'm looking at DPS. Give each 900 ED you're going to have a) 20 dmg every 1 sec and b) 40 dmg every 2 sec. They're still the same.
Because it's a cheap knock off private server game where it's super easy to get rich. I don't think you really can be rich on this game. Everyone can get all this in a week if they wanted. so you making this big "proof video" but u have to make the right base inifnity in the video ? u didnt even play with that before ? did u even consider the base damage of the merc ? u didnt say anything about that. also there are some things to think of: better ias bases are better at low ias, the more ias u have the slower base u can use kinda. better ias base lets u reach a higher breakpoint with still using items like the sethelm with 10%proc to weaken. and 10%weaken proc on attack with 4.5 or 4.8 or whatever attack per sec is better than 3.5-3.8 or whatever, same goes for open wounds or crushing blow. also if u have alot of gear ur merc will 1shot most of the normal mobs anyways. 1shotting a mob with 4.5-5.0 or whatever speed will be faster than one shotting a mob with 3.5-4.0 speed, the animation for one jab will be faster. 1shotting a mob faster is more damage in a way. also he can get stunned and stuff, the faster he attacks, the faster he is done with one animating the lesser the chance is to get stunned in animation. also the merc is kinda dumb, more attack speed will make him be less dumb, (idk about the merc ai fixes and stuff dint play this season, only for a bit) merc with higher attack speed will just feel more smooth to play, specially when you and ur merc doing high damage anyways. and idk what u wanna proof with the map at the end .. u kill all mobs in like 2 sec so why would he even die anyways ? i always aim for thresher with 75%ias at least so 4.54 attacks i mean look at your chart on low/mid ias ur op super base is only a tiny bit mroe dps like 75% thresh is 350 and ur 376 thats like 6-7%more damage or somehting ? and im pretty sure u didnt include base dps, cuz with base dps + wep the damage values should be way higher. so basicly if u add the +100 base damage or whatever how much exactly to all the weps the vaule af the +damage on the slower damage gets halved or somehting while the value auf the better attack speeds getts doubled. (or somehting like that im no math expert) but im pretty sure ur talking shit :> now i actually wanna know how it looks with the base damage, maybe its even still better like you said but if it is like that its gonna be only 1-3%more damage or somehting if even.
I'm sorry but I think this totally ruins d2 and is full of garbage. They did way too much. Add some poe add some other whack stuff put a de title on it and keep throwing more and more garbage into it. Ill keep to good old d2 and d2r thanks. crushing blow doesn't work past 65% in pd2 though.
