Eddie I really appreciate all the work you do and the money you spend to test the stuff for us. Appreciate you! Good test! I always enjoy watching these.
Thanks for watching I appreciate you so much
Thanks Eddie. I know you already know this but I just wanted to let you know your wife is an absolute gem and gave me some of the best customer service I have ever encountered last week. Thank the lord for the beautiful women in our lives. The real MVPs. Thanks Bev ❤️
I told
Her what you said appreciate that man
Glad to see this video! Yes, price is not the only factor in a top tier product… who knew?! Thanks for another banger man.
Thanks for watching
Great video. You testing Evolve on the glass is exactly what I have been noticing with evolve leaving a film and needing a follow up towel to wipe it completely clean.
Imagine that want you to dilute it stronger for a panel prep…
@@Ecdetails Lord...
@@EcdetailsI already tried it as a waterless wash and not good at that. But I agree with you that the sponge works the best with Evolve.
Looking forward to your review of Griots Garage Rinseless Wash - it just became available today. $19.99 for 35oz is a great deal.
Oh is it a new , new one ?
@ Yep! Announced this year at SEMA and released yesterday
Great video. Know exactly which video you are talking about 😂. I really like that particular channel but I too find their obsession with price being such a big factor in every products test annoying. Yes mention it but it’s not the be all and end all. They assume that us UK people are obsessed with price and bargains but I really don’t think we are any more than the US market, unless we’re running a business perhaps. They also put a lot of focus on the instructions and labelling which although a fair point it still doesn’t put the full focus on the product in the bottle and its results.
Grateful for your hard work!
Appreciate this comment - it’s true those are facts people need right but performance is performance and compare that imho
Great break down on these rinseless washes; there are so many now that it is really hard to choose just one lol.
Thanks Fred
Appreciate the comparison! I did purchase this one and agree with what you said - for me, Hero and Nemesis performed better. This one smells great and does get the job done tho. It isn't bad at all but for me, it's out of the top 5 for sure.
Hey Deb, good morning! Yeah, I came into this like this must be a titan for it beat other rinseless washes on another channel like not just beat it, smoked them. I was like, “Lord, if that’s the case, this one has to be insane.”
Thanks Deb! I thought about getting it but I’ll pass.
Great video. They all clean grrat today, but yeah, there are some that will be hard for companies to catch. I think at this point there are at least 3 or maybe even 4 dozen out now, which is awesome for people wanting choice and competition.
Agreed
That color change is wild. Definitely looks like a fun product
Everything’s so good lately that even if this isn’t your bag of tea, it might be for someone else. I enjoyed Evolve, and yes there are some better performers, but the ‘user’ experience can be a differentiator as that is subjective. I aIso think UK detailing culture and standards are different than NA so I don’t think FD has it out for NA products, but from their criteria (and cost of overseas shipping) it can influence their view. Same as here, Bilt Hamber isn’t exactly cheap or easily available as it is there, and here performance is valued more than cost often times. Anyways, another banger review! Keep em coming!
Thanks for watching man appreciate the comment and I agree
Hi Eddie ,love your work and how to videos.I detail cars in Australia,my car and a few customers for now, and I am eagerly waiting to be able to buy your THOR products, here in Australia.I am using Nxtzen products at the moment and love them.ZNR, Ceramic Express ,and The 360 pro coating.I use the Ceramic Dealer as a drying aid after the rinseless wash, and it looks great. But I just tried using a red duelling pad on a rotary on low speed to apply the ceramic Detailer and then puff after ,and it seems glossier to me.Have you had the same experience.Love your Work ,Cheers Eddie.
I have tired that with Yvan I person it did seem to be glossier
How are you liking the rest of the line up from Nxtzen
@@Ecdetails Loving them ,protect is good ,The iron remover ,I haven't tried yet.I like Decon . I have yet to try nasiol ZR53 to put on my Car, hope I can do the 30 second drill ,to put it on right. What were your thoughts on Nasiol ZR53, any advice for me Eddie ?,appreciate you.
I knew the other rinseless wash feynlab just from the way it was behaving. Was just waiting for the end to make sure you mentioned what it was before I asked. Feynlab is top notch. Feynlab is recommended to be diluted 256:1, right? The fact that you went 384:1 and it was still slicker on the towel and released dirt from the towel better says a lot.
Really loving Loki, by the way. I like Nemesis slightly more for interiors, but that is ONLY due to the smell. Loki has a very strong smell to it. Insane cleaning power, though!
Ya I wanted it to be like for like in terms of dilutions if I were to use it 256:1 would of cleaned the hoes off Fremont
Feynlab at 256:1 will streak on glass and foam like a bath bomb.
@@TheOutdoorDetailer yes Lord will it foam lol. I used v3 again after about 3 months of nemesis and forgot to do 384:1. 2 panels in and I was cussing like a sailor and almost poured it out lol
@@tadeloach22lol😂
Interesting to me nemesis is way stronger in scent than Loki 😂 love both of them as well.
Great testing on the products! They both look like Cleaning monsters for sure! You wouldn’t catch me dead going straight Rinseless on a dirty car like this! I think Loki would be Godlike foamed on and watch all that nastiness just drop, then rinsed! The towels would be noware as dirty. Just got Loki for this exact situation! 💯💪🏼
Hey Todd for sure what your saying is true I just test all rinseless washes like this
Thanks Eddie another great video. Where did you get the rods for your bucket dolly? seems like a great way to roll them around.
Franko made them for me
@@Ecdetails dude i’m telling you if you let make you one with a towel/bottle hook on it you’d dig it 😆 … i’ll get your other one cooked up asap
nice test using your experience to tell the differences and getting into details. I liked this format. Be careful with yours hands though...
Thanks and ya for sure glove up
Good Saturday morning to you Eddie 😀 Will you be doing another Top 5 Rinseless video any time soon given so many have been released or come to market since the last Top 5 video?
Imma wait till like the middle of the year - people still pumping them
Out
@ makes sense. Maybe I’ll be close to finished finish the 4 I have currently by the. 😆 probably not though.
Would you normally pre spray and rinse a car as dirty as this normally?
Looks more like lime green jello. Solid vid as always.
Get it son!!!
I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm heading towards a little rinseless fatigue. That is...I just want to use my favorites and dump the rest. I won't do that, but I am going to blow through the product I have and see what I miss when it's gone. If I don't miss it, I'll replace it with a new one.
I like that FD delved into rinseless more and is starting to see some of it's benefits, but he was putting far too much weight on cost per wash and on stupid stuff like how the information was presented on the bottle. I grew up in the struggle and had some lean times in my in 20s, but I'm not broke any more so I don't care if a product costs me $1 per wash or $2 per wash. Also, sorry Jon but it isn't the mid-90s anymore. We aren't stuck with only choosing from a few products on a store shelf with no TH-cam or detailing Internet to show us how to use it. Hero and DIY got done dirty with that "test".
Agreed that test he did made think lord this rinseless must be something special to dick down diy and hero… after using it felt like it was 2000’s again where the weapons of mass destruction at ? You know what I mean
@Ecdetails exactly. Where's the beef?
I'll try this one eventually, but I'm in no hurry based on what I've seen. I think the other thing with Jon is that he just isn't well enough versed in the rinseless method and all the ways it can/should/shouldn't be used to be able tell them apart in the way that us experienced rinseless users can. I think that might be part of why he put so much weight on price and label info...it was the only way he could separate them.
For sure man. I love rinsless but they are not so good as we believe IMO. They are being exposed for being actual rinse off products. Makes sense that anything with some cleaning ability would have to be rinsed off. If anyone claims a panel is clean after a rinsless for a coating is lying.
@@seabrew1 that Detail Projects guy is being intentionally misleading, he hides any negative/constructive criticism and he seems to have an axe to grind against Yvan and rinseless products in general. His marring "test" with plexiglass is laughable and not at all equivalent to washing a car in the real world. The use of surfactants that normally need to be rinsed in a rinseless product is a discussion worth having, but my suspicion is that it's a simple matter of dilution. Not every chemical that "requires" rinsing would necessarily need to be rinsed when it only makes up 3% to 10% of a product that is then mixed down again at 256:1 (or higher).
@ who’s exposing it - what actual chemist who does this for a living has gone on TH-cam or Facebook and showed the facts about this?
In your comment above you said it doesn’t clean but cars have been getting clean with “rinseless” for years so what do you mean?
wow I meant buff ,haha. And I applied it to the dried car after the rinse less ,sorry for the explanation ,but I hope you get what I wanted to say
Ya I got it haha
That was some epic testing 😎 👌🏻
Thanks for watching
I am using nemesis only happy with the product. Don't fix something that's not broken
Sounds good bro!
The benchmark for a rinsless is the total package. They've gotten so good and so reliable. The bottle and label look fire though
Cool video man!
Agreed it’s gotta to do it all right just to compete with the stuff out
Thanks for the side by side.
I'm awaiting a delivery of Evolve (500ml here in uk) to compare to Garage Therapy Rinseless. As another has said, 'Rinseless fatigue' may be setting in. There aren't really any bad ones, for which we should be grateful.
Having tried both, would you say Feynlab and GT are similar (are they both surfactant heavy?)?
Thanks again
Garage therapy is a monster of a product - like for me it checks all the boxes including interior cleaning
Feynlab can foam to much at higher dilution
Garage therapy to me in the bucket foams less at the proper dilutions
@@Ecdetailsso having tried it, I love the smell, it's really slick. But, it's not a one dunk king. More a 'three dunk prince'. Does clean the mf eventually, unlike Absolute, so I'll happily keep it.
Brooo I need that clear bucket 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
Amazon 50 bucks or parkscarcare for like 30
This is a much different type of rinse-less. Think of it more as an apc that doesn’t leave residue. Carbon collective creates products that work within their ecosystem. I don’t use it for washing cars. I use it when doing full restorations for engine cleaning or even cleaning carpets.
@@hashaampiracha3712 it’s a great rinsless in my opinion not sure it beats out garage therapy , diy detial , armour detail supply or Feynlab
Hi Eddie, when is the wheel Acid coming to market?
A couple a weeks to a month
👀 feynlab is a hard one to knock off the top.
Oh for sure haha
I think people seem to be getting their knickers in a twist with Jon’s test, as in ALL his tests he gives you the breakdown of the points given for each test, YOU can remove any of the points for tests that don’t matter to you and find your own winner.
I think Jeff in another comment may have a point about what experience Jon may have In rinsless washing, I’ve been following him since 2016 and it’s never been much of a topic, and is why Ive been here for about a year now as it’s a method I wanted to explore more/get better at.
Ya you could but can’t call something the best based on price makes no sense, like you mentioned tho above it’s what ever our factors so so those are my opinion thanks for your comment!
His scoring is criminally bad. I can pee in a bottle and sell it to him for 50p and it’ll win his test because it’s cheapest per use.
It looks like a decent product but seems like a too 10 or so.
Question, i’ve been using DIY‘s water spot remover for a while now and I love it but I’m out and they’re sold out. What would you recommend as a replacement?
@@tonykemper8896 labocosmetica energo, spotless carpro , maniac waterspot ,
I think there is a part of your test that is flawed. You first tested slickness with the towel on the dirty panel. But when you followed up to test the slickness with the sponge you tested on the panel you just cleaned with the towel. You should be testing slickness with the two mediums with the same panel conditions, either both clean or both dirty.
I’m pretty sure at the beginning I showed the sponge on dirty parts. And the releasing on dirt.
@ At 4:45 it looks like you sponged the same area that you just cleaned with the microfiber. After a second look, it is possible you started the sponge above the area you washed with the microfiber, but you continued down into the clean area. Even so a side panel is just not going to be as dirty above the mid-line as it is down by the rocker panel, so I think a side by side test down low might have resulted in a different opinion of slickness.
@@OldDetailer ah okay - sponge touched dirty through out the video thanks for the feedback I’ll make that part more pronounced going forward
Eddie... how are you liking the Lyric?
It’s a great car , luxury compared to my Tesla
Is carbon collective coming to the store?
Nah detail division sells it
@Ecdetails damn ok 🥲
@ haha nah man they already get imported by detail division which is a great company!
Eddie ,Zvizzer ultra soft pads? Feynlab Feynmach polishers?
Like is it a great combo ya
@@Ecdetails no, gonna carry them?
The ultra soft is the green thermo pad

If you want a real good rinseless cleaning monster for a good price you should look into Nemesis🤣
Haha 🤣 thanks for watching bro
Performance > Price for detailing hobbyists.

Third. 😢
Fourth! 🤪
again the dilution is a head scratcher. All due respect how can you be a tester and you can't even explain super simple dilution ratios? Most rinseless washes call for 4-5 milliliters per liter of solution/water. 1:200 vs 1:256 means a whole 1ml more of product per liter haha Potent stuff.
Oh did I dilute it wrong? Cause I’m pretty said I had 15l in the bucket and add .5 mils and the other product I did the same dilutions? Which Feynlab wants 256:1 and I did 30mls for 3 gallons
Who cares about cost, YOLO
