    Sir actually I am aeronautical engineer. I have lot passion in engineering but my engineering staffs never make me to think. But you are great. Let the future 🔮 generation grow up. I am impressed the way you teach. You just explain a aircraft performance book in a 4.5min. It's really sounds good. Thank you sir.

      @Team Aaron Dover alright, being an engineer I found it surprising when I heard static charge could force a lift as big as an aircraft. There are charges always involved I have to agree to that, but to take away the mechanical picture away is questionable?

    • @siddhartha5186
      @siddhartha5186 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Team Aaron Dover No i am not negating your claim, we build aerofoils to prove the drag reduction results, anyways the very cycle of airflows depends on heat and earth magnetism so from a holistic view it is sum of resultant energy from thermo mechanical electromagnetic forces

    Not sure if someone had asked already, how does this apply to what SpaceX is trying? Meaning reusable rocket vessels? So, while flying up they ensure by the payload in the rockets the center of mass is above the center of pressure. But while landing they do they have to ensure there is enough weight is present in the bottom so the center of mass is below the center of pressure for stable landing?

  • @thejassathya310
    @thejassathya310 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Super video... The same applies to a ship as well, the centre of buoyant force's position with respect to the centre of mass governs the ship's stability. Request you to do a video of this concept as a follow up video.
    Thanks

    • @abusalin1933
      @abusalin1933 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Infinity is number which can't be written ex:1\∞=0 because
      Simply 1\10000000=0.0000001which is approximately 0 so because of ∞is
      bigger than 10000000. 1\∞=0

    I have two questions.
    1. How did the center of mass shift to the top in the second model ?
    2. How does increasing the area in the bottom of an object shift the center of pressure towards bottom ?
    Please Explain.
    Thanks
    Adhithiyan

    • @thejassathya310
      @thejassathya310 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi...
      1. Transfer of center of mass: centre of mass in an object will move towards the area where the mass is concentrated, if the front of the object has more mass the centre of mass shifts towards it and vice versa (try this by first balancing a normal stick & then stick with a stone tied at one end, centre of mass or the balancing point will shift towards the stone).
      2. Transfer of centre of pressure. Air flow across the rocket creates a pressure(due to aerodynamic force) at each and every point of the rocket. Aerodynamic force is created by air molecules hitting the object's surface. more the surface area, more no of air molecules hits the object's surface thereby creating more force. Thus where the surface area is more centre of pressure shifts near to that, hence having more surface area at the bottom moves the centre of pressure to the bottom.
      Thanks for reading...
