Why dosnt anyone mention this gun has the best LCI in the business.if the barrel breaks there is no round in the chamber.if it will not break there IS a round in the chamber.
Thanks for the informative summary. I’m about to “pull the trigger” on an FPC and you’ve educated me on the necessary upgrades to make this “B” gun into an “A-“, maybe an “A.” I’ve used T3G parts on my PC Charger and agree Tim is a great guy to work with. I’m looking to buy the charging handle and a hand-guard, but not sure which one, aluminum or carbon fiber. Were you overall satisfied with the T3G scope mount? If yes, then the M-lok-only Extreme Ultralight handguard, combined with the T3G scope mount is my choice. If no, then the full-rail aluminum handguard might be best for mounting my red dot optic. Thanks again.
Hello friend. Still can't say enough about how much I love my FPC. Having trouble with mag not locking back after last round,. Any ideas? Thanks, George
Thanks for another update. Good to see/hear your views. I have about 500 rounds on mine with Holosun H510C red dot (green), a cheap muzzle break and a fore grip. As you say, it's super accurate. My standing group at 50 yds was about 5", and I'm a VERY AVERAGE shooter, so I was very pleased. At 20 yds it's close to 2 inches. Again, for me, that's pretty good. Resting at 20, I put a 1-inch hole in the paper. And all of that is with the California required "Fin Grip", a terrible requirement by the state. I agree with all you've said, but I have not checked for the marks on the bolt yet. I got mine about a month ago so I'm not sure if it is an "improved" version or not. I'll put another 500 rounds on it and give it a good cleaning to see what I can see. Thanks again.
You're welcome. I am trying to find an unwanted fin grip (not buying one to use one time) as I want to try one on my AR, I have never used one and just want to try it. Hopefully your gun has the improved bolt. If not, just call them and they will send you one.
I called Smith and Wesson about the bolt issue, and the customer service agent didn’t know what I was talking about. So I’ll have to try again I guess and hopefully get a different representative. I also jammed my pinky really bad yesterday trying to reset the hammer while reassembling the firearm. I need to be more careful when taking it down. It’s a real P. IT. A. Other than that, and the fact that it’s a real pain in the behind to clean , it’s a really accurate fun going to shoot
when I got mine last week, it is referred to as a bolt repair kit. I bet they got a run on these lately. In regards to the trigger, that’s why some port and keep the gun on safe. It is really a pain in the you know what.
It’s a nice shooter; a lot of people like it and I like mine, I’d like to see if they come out with a Gen 2. I have also found that the thread protector comes loose a lot 😂
Glad to hear you are going to try the Taccom charging handle. I don't care for the "tickle" I get from the factory charging handle. I've been searching everywhere but nobody has done a review on it yet. Looking forward to your thoughts.
Thanks for sharing! Yea I like mine as well Iv got it set up totally different Runs extremely well.Talk about charging handles On a Sub 2000 G2 I had a few years ago my Fac.Handle Snapped at the stem when was on a camp hiking trip it looked like cheap pot metal were it broke They did replace in a timely matter But Thumbs down on reliability can’t have that it did eat all Ammo though Luckily had o back up hand gun. On the FPC still waiting for an awesome trigger upgrade think would b a great improvement for this fire arm.
When I get the T3G charging handle in I will video it being installed. I haven't had any issues with ammo yet, it has eaten everything I used. The good thing about S&W is they are really good at replacing things quickly and at no charge, even when I inquired about having a few things as extra standby's.
@@hollowpointdefense after you mentioned that charging handle in your Vid.looked on their site It looks awesome. Think I'll wait to see your review but definitely looks perf.👍🏻👍🏻
I really wanted to give this gun an A+ rating, but with the bolt issue and the hammer issue I couldn't.
Very helpful review
Glad it was helpful!
good beater gun
It is soley a fun gun for me.

No idea, I don't because I have the habit of looking to make sure it is NOT loaded. I have never relied on a LCI (Loaded Chamber Indicator).
Thanks. Please keep me up to date. Thanks George

I went with the Nordic Components aluminum hand guard. I really like it. The T3G scope mount I no longer use, sold it off. It wasn’t for me.

I get that too, not sure anything can be done about it. When I get my bolt repair kit from S&W I will see if there is any improvement.

I would happily send you my fin grip, but…… the state might not like it if I didn’t have it on my FPC 😮

It does come loose easily. That is one reason I put on a muzzle device.

It just arrived and I will get it on tonight.
How does the new charging handle affect being able to carry mags in the stock?
